Abstract
The invention refers to a children's garment of immobilization for infants and toddlers which consists of: a) A top or bottom clothing of every material and size for infants and toddlers. b) Two (2) identical wide rectangular strips of soft velcro loop sown vertically on the back of the garment and, c) One (1) big rectangular or square adhered strip of hard velcro hook, adjusted on top of the vertically sown strips of soft velcro loop, found on the back of the garment as an integral part of it. The strip of hard velcro hook can be detached from the children's garment and, then, can be affixed to the desired steady surface of immobilization. The children's garment of immobilization for infants and toddlers, according to the present invention, has the following feature: the two (2) identical strips of soft velcro loop which are sown vertically on the back of the garment in combination with the correspondingly adjusted adhered strip of hard velcro hook, found on the back of the garment as an integral part of it, when it is detached from the children's garment and it is affixed to the predetermined steady surface, results in the temporary immobilization of the child. The advantage of this invention is that, by the immobilization of the child, falls and accidents during their daily activities are prevented.
Description
DESCRIPTION
Children's garment of immobilization for infants and toddlers
The invention refers to a children's garment of immobilization for infants and toddlers which consists of: a) A long or short sleeved top (t-shirt-vest-infant bodysuit-romper suit) and/or long trousers-shorts of every material and size for infants and toddlers.
b) Two (2) identical wide rectangular strips of soft velcro loop sown vertically on the back of the garment, parallel to each other and with reasonable intermediary space, a shape which will refer to the electronic symbol PAUSE of the internet and
c) One (1) big rectangular or square adhered strip of hard velcro hook , adjusted on top of the vertically sown strips of soft velcro loop , found on the back of the garment as an integral part of it. The strip of hard hook and loop fastener can be detached from the children's garment and, then, can be affixed to the desired steady surface of immobilization (baby change pad-baby bouncer-baby stroller-baby chair- baby infant seat).
Separately, the above mentioned materials are widely known on the market, but their combination and, simultaneously, their use as a means of immobilizing temporarily infants and toddlers and, therefore, as a means of ensuring their safety, constitutes an original idea, considering that the available on the market children's garments aim only for the clothing and not for the control of children's movement. The advantage of this invention is that, by using this method, infants and toddlers are immobilized temporarily and always under the supervision of an adult, which results in the prevention of falls and accidents during their daily activities (change of diaper- a walk with the baby stroller-feeding at the baby chair-transportation with a car).
The children's garment of immobilization for infants and toddlers, according to the present invention, has the following feature: the strips of soft velcro loop which are sown vertically on the back of the garment in combination with the correspondingly adjusted adhered strip of hard velcro hook , found on the back of the garment as an integral part of it, when it is detached from the children's garment and it is affixed to the desired steady surface, by placing the child on that surface, result in its temporary and always supervised by an adult immobilization, so that falls and accidents during their daily activities can be prevented.
In accordance with the invention, it would also be desirable for the two wide rectangular strips of soft velcro loop to be steadily sown vertically on the back of the garment, parallel to each other and with reasonable intermediary space, so that they can be detached in a more easy manner from the corresponding adhered strip of hard velcro hook , when it is affixed to the predetermined steady surface of temporary immobilization.
Figure 1 provides an indicative plan view of the back of the baby t-shirt, where the rectangular strips of soft velcro loop are sown vertically, parallel to each other and with reasonable intermediary space and the rectangular or square adhered strip of hard velcro hook , adjusted on top of the vertically sown strips of soft velcro loop.
Claims
1. The children's garment of immobilization for infants and toddlers is a top or bottom clothing, which have two (2) wide rectangular strips of soft loop sown vertically on the back of the garment and one big rectangular or square adhered strip of hard velcro hook , adjusted on top of the two rectangular strips of soft velcro loop , as an integral part of the garment. The strip of hard velcro hook can be detached from the children's garment and, then, can be affixed to the desired steady surface of immobilization.
2. In accordance with claim 1, the children's garment of immobilization is to be identified by the fact that it has two wide rectangular strips of soft velcro loop sown vertically on the back of the garment, parallel to each other and with a reasonable intermediary space of 2-3 cm, a shape which will refer to the electronic symbol PAUSE of the internet.
3. In accordance with claims 2 & 3, the two wide rectangular strips of soft velcro loop sown vertically on the back of the garment are soft, so that they are friendly to the child's skin and they are sown very steadily on the fabric (both are sown parametrically and crosswise, each one separately), so that they don't come away during the affixation and the ablation of the child on the surface of temporary immobilization.
4. In accordance with claims 1, 2 & 3, the dimensions of each strip of soft velcro loop sown vertically on the back of the garment are 6X13 cm, which ensure that the child is held steadily on the surface of immobilization.
5. In accordance with claims 1, 2, 3 & 4, one (1) big rectangular or square adhered strip of hard velcro hook is adjusted on top of the vertically sown strips of soft velcro loop , found on the back of the garment, as an integral part of it. The dimensions of the strip of hard velcro hook are 25X25 cm or 25X30 cm, which ensure that the child is held steadily on the surface of immobilization, when one detaches it from the children's garment and affixes it to the predetermined surface.
