TOILET SEAT COVER WITH STEAM
Technical Area
This invention is related to a toilet pan, whose lid is sanitized with steam to provide the best hygiene conditions in public toilets.
Background of Invention
Toilets, where human beings dispose their faeces, are the living areas of houses or workplaces that must be kept at high level of hygienical conditions. Toilets are such a places where likelihood of having large amount of germs and parasites. Studies has shown that human body is contamined with pathogen microorganisms in toilets. Also, toilets can cause contamination of various microorganisms, parasites, ovals of parasites if they are not kept clean enough. These microorganisms and otherc can cause epidemic disesase such as typhoid, paratyphoid, dyesentry, cholera, etc.
Technically, materials used for toilet pan lids are microorganism-free. But, this is not good enough to keep the lid clean, as there can be remains of faeces or any other kind of dirt on and around the lid.
Nowadays, cleaning personnel and various cleaning chemicals are widely utilised for cleaning of toilets. Chemicals used for cleaning is generally harmful for environment, moreover they give damage to toilets. Even though these facts, hygiene is not totally guaranteed because this kind of periodical cleaning cannot take place after every usage of the toilet.
To guarantee hygiene conditions at all times, there has been several solutions developed. The most common one of these solutions is to provide disposable papers to be put on the lid. But, covering the lid with a thin paper is not protective enough if the lid is dirty. Another solution is to cover the lid with plastic that rolls at every usage, but, this system can carry any contamination to happen at its feeding area.
Above solutions are causing waste of paper or plastic materials continuously, while they fail to provide 100% hygiene guarantee.
By this invention, it is aimed to provide effective toilet cleaning by using only water and electricity without consuming chemicals that are harmful to environment and human health.
Another purpose of this invention is to save the expenses of utilising cleaning personnel and cleaning materials.
Another purpose of this invention is to make users feel confident that toilet is totally clean and hygienical.
Another purpose of this invention is to develop a system that is compatible with every type of toilet pan lid and relevant standards.

The invention mainly consists of a steam generating system, and transfer lines to bring the steam to the toilet pan lid and/or toilet body.
Above-mentioned transfer lines consist of fixed or moving transmitters that carries the steam to the toilet pan lid (2), toilet body ory anl location that steam is requested. Transfer lines can be a complete pipe, as well as it can be a composition of small and segmented steam outlets
A sample application and working principles of the invention is as follows:
The system, which is a toilet pan lid with steam, is the composition of a fluid tank with electrcity heater (4), motion sensor to detect usage of the toilet (5), steam outlets (6) located on the toilet lid (1), springs that connect steam outkets to each other (7), toilet pan lid (2) that sits on the toilet body, intermediate lid (3) with an inclined rift that is located on the toilet pan lid (8), and a restart button if it is desired to re-clean.
By the motion sensor (5), after the person left the toilet, with a time delay, toilet lid is automatically closed and flush is activated.
By means of dry steam outlets (6), that are placed several different locations around the toilet lid (1), steam with enough pressure and amount is applied to the toilet pan lid (2) during a pre-defined time period.
To keep the used steam inside the toilet pan after steam is applied, steam is directed towards the rift that is formed with the toilet pan lid and inclined intermediate lid. Thus, it is ensured that all remainings after steam application flows into the toilet.
Optionally, by adding steam outlets (6) under the toilet pan lid (2), toilet body can be sanitized too. After applying steam to lids (1,2), by means of other steam outlets (6), located on under face of toilet lid (1), steam is applied to different areas of the toilet body for a predefined time automatically.
In another application of the invention, steam outlets are (6) able to move and expanding from the center of the lid towards its periphery edges. Steam outlets can be connected to each other by a spring (7). Thus, this spring will bring steam outlets back to their original position.
The user can restart above stages over if, for any reason, the user is not confident about the hygiene.
Claims
1. The invention is a toilet pan lid with steam, and it is characterised by a fluid tank (4) with electricity heater, motion detector to create usage information (5), toilet lid (1) with steam outlets (6), optional springs that connects steam outlets each other (7), toilet pan lid (2) that sits on the toilet body, intermediate lid (3) with inclined structure that created a rift (8), and a restart button that repeats system operation.
2. This is a toilet lid that is adequate to Demand-1, and characterised by its working principles that contains following steps:
• Toilet lid (1) to close and flush to activate after a time delay on the motion detector (5) signal to identify that the user has left the toilet.
• Steam with enough pressure and power to be applied to the toilet pan lid (2) for a predefined time period by means of many dry steam outlets (6) that are located around the inner face of the toilet lid (1)
• Directing steam towards a rift (8) that is formed by intermediate lid (3) and toilet pan lid (2) to ensure steam flow towards the toilet.
• After steam applied to lids (1,2), application of steam with enough power and
pressure to various areas inside the toilet body for a predefined time period by means of other steam outlets (6) located in the center of toilet lid (1).
• Providing possibility to repeat above steps by means of a restart button.
3. This is a toilet lid that is adequate to Demand-1, and characterised by its steam outlets (6) to be able to move from the centre of the lid towards the outer edge of the lid.
