Abstract
Disclosed is the use of a substrate (2) comprising at least one optical waveguide structure (4) integrated therein for the optical inspection of a moving textile material (9). A sampling region (3) for optically sampling the textile material (9) is provided on the substrate (2). The optical waveguide structure (4) opens at least partially into the sampling region (3). A device (1) thus constructed requires little space, has various applications and can be modified or serviced easily.
