Description
DESCRIPTION
BACKBOARD CARCASS REINFORCEMENT FOR THE SEATS USED IN AIRPLANES Technical Field
The present invention relates to the reinforcement of the backboard carcass in order to increase the resistance of the backboard carcass of the seats used in the airplanes against the forces that may be applied on it in the airline transportation and to provide that the weight is kept at the lowest level while increasing the resistance.
State of the Art
In the current embodiments, in order to increase the resistance of the backboard carcass of the seats used in the airplanes in the airline transportation, either the section wall thickness is increased, or the sizes of the section is expanded. Therefore, it is provided to increase the resistance. While the resistance is being increased, the weight of the seat increases as well. In the case that the part that should be reinforced is a short part according to the main sizes of the seat carcass, besides the achievement of resistance, the increase in weight is quite much. Moreover, as the main section sizes are measured depending on the situation where a maximum level of resistance is needed, the weight becomes a disadvantage.
In the patent search that has been conducted, no patent application has been found, which discloses an inner reinforcement profile usage according to the present invention; and the utility model application registered under TPE with the number 2009/0621 1 relates to a driver's seat comprising seat sheets and a backboard on which some resistance-increasing holes are created.
Consequently, new developments are made in order to increase the resistance of the backboard carcass of the seats used in airplanes in the airline transportation, and therefore new embodiments are needed which will eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages and to offer solutions for the current systems.
Objects of the Invention
The present invention relates to an inner reinforcement profile, which increases the resistance of the carcass and keeps the weight at a minimum level by being installed inside
the seat backboard carcass, which meets the above-mentioned necessities, eliminates all the disadvantages and offers some additional advantages.
The object of the present invention is to install an inner reinforcement profile in the inner part of the backboard carcass so as to increase the resistance of the backboard carcass of the seats used in airplanes in the airline transportation against the forces that may be applied on it, and to keep the weight at the lowest level while increasing the resistance.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned objects, a backboard carcass used in the seats of the airplanes in the airline transportation has been developed which comprises a main profile of backboard carcass which serves as a carrier, shapes the back tensioning cloth and enabling the sponge to be installed, a supporting sheet fitted on the main profile for binding the lock providing the tray tablet of be locked, a lumber support profile supporting the lumber part of the passenger; characterized in that comprising a reinforcement profile installed in the inner part of the main profile of the backboard carcass.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, an inner reinforcement profile is used in the main profile of the backboard carcass on the reinforced backboard carcass part starting after the hydraulic cylinder connection part and extending to the start of the rotation radius at the upper part in order to increase the resistance on the part where the main profile of the backboard carcass facing the aisle is connected to the hydraulic cylinder.

Figure 2 is the perspective view of the backboard carcass.

Detailed Description of the invention
The present invention relates to a reinforcement profile (2) installed inside the inner part of the main profile of the backboard carcass (1) so as to increase the resistance of the backboard carcass used in the seats of the airplanes in the airline transportation against the forces that may be applied on it, and to keep the weight at the lowest level while increasing the resistance. In Figure 1 , the front view of the seats that are located side by side inside the airplane is shown. On the seat backboard carcass, there are some points where the resistance should be increased locally. Especially the part where the hydraulic cylinder (8) is located should be more resistant than the other part. As is shown in Figure, as the part where the hydraulic cylinder (8) is locates is the aisle (7) part, more load will be applied on the reinforced backboard carcass part (6) while the passengers move inside the airplane. Therefore, it offers advantage to add a reinforcement profile (2) into the main profile of the backboard carcass (1) by increasing the weight at a minimum level for a desired level of resistance.
The structure providing the back support for the passenger is whole seat back carcass shown in Figure 2. The seat back carcass comprises a backboard carcass main profile (1 ) which serves as a carrier, shapes the back tensioning cloth and makes it possible to install a sponge. The main profile (1) has a form like U-form. A lumber support profile (5) is located on the main profile (1) so as to support the lumber part of the passenger. A support sheet (3) is located on the main profile (1) in a way that it will stay on the upper part of the lumber support profile (5), which forms a connection surface to the tray table lock. Being the sheet that the lock is connected to for the tray table to be locked, the support sheet (3) also supports the panels of the upper magazine pocket structurally. The bottom pocket sheets (4)
support the rubber connections of the bottom security card section. An inner reinforcement profile (2) is used starting after the hydraulic cylinder (8) connection part and extending to the start of the rotation radius at the upper part in order to increase the resistance on the part where the main profile of the backboard carcass (1) is connected to the hydraulic cylinder.
In Figure 4, the A-A section is given. As is shown in the figure, a reinforcement profile (2) is located so as to provide minimum weight and to increase the resistance inside the part extending to the start of the rotation radius at the upper part of the main profile of the backboard carcass (1) of the seat located on the aisle part.
