The invention belongs to the domain of video signal transmission via Internet combined with payment terminals. The system according to the invention enables live video transmission from the maternity hospital 24 hours continuously. The system includes IP cameras (1), which are mounted in the carriers in a maternity hospital above babies' beds and via router (2) and Internet links related to the media server (3) and web server (4). Users access the system via a known Web address.

Description

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BABY OBSERVATION
IN MATERNITY HOSPITAL
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of information technology, and refers to the transmission of video signals via Internet combined with payment also via Internet. According to the International Patent Classification the subject matter is classified H04L29/00.
Background art
The technical problem that is solved by the invention is how to design information system with IP cameras and use of the Internet, which would allow parents of newborn babies and babies' relatives to watch them while they are in maternity hospital, without going to the maternity hospital. The designed system, according to the invention, provides that payment for service access system for monitoring babies in maternity hospital is also made via Internet.
From the prior art is known the British published application GB 2475279 A in which protection is claimed for an invention titled: „Surveillance device for power line peer-to-peer signal transmission". The invention comprises a device for photographing, server and monitoring device, which can be either computer or mobile phone. Device for taking pictures is connected to the server via first router and internet connection. Server is via another router connected to a monitoring device.
Second British patent application GB 2461596 protects the invention titled:„IP Network Camera and Server System". The invention described in the above application includes IP camera that has a router connected to the Internet and server feedback. User via his computer, within his network via another router, Internet and server sends controls to the camera. The described invention from prior art, as well as many others, use the IP camera from which the signal through the router and the Internet is sent to the server and on to the user. Such inventions have different implementation and different configurations, but none of them is used in a maternity hospital. Disclosure of the Invention
The system and method, according to the invention, allows parents, grandparents and relatives interested to see the baby at time when they are the most impatient. Observation of baby using the invention is not limited in a few minutes, but the baby can be monitored and observed 24 hours continuously, without any interference in the regular processes of a maternity hospital. In addition, it eliminates the generation of a crowd in a maternity hospital and avoids the possibility of transmitting infection to the babies.
The system includes IP cameras for monitoring the baby from which the image is via router and the Internet transmitted to the Web server on which the presentation is set. Administration system for checking orders and assigning camera to orders is done via computer that is located in a maternity hospital. Image from IP cameras, also via routers and the Internet, is transmitted to a media server that performs image processing. In addition to these parts, which allow the observation, monitoring and signal transmission, the system includes a program that allows verification of the authenticity of the user identification, control, monitoring and administration. The system includes a payment terminal that is used for payment of the service for the observing babies in the maternity hospital.
Figure 1 shows a schematic view of the invention described above.
Figure 2 shows a diagram of the procedure according to the invention. The system for monitoring babies in a maternity hospital, according to the invention, includes multiple IP (Internet Protocol) camera 1 , which has well-developed IP infrastructure sufficient for high-quality transmission of a video surveillance in high resolution. Number of IP cameras 1 is determined by the possibilities and needs of a maternity hospital. IP cameras 1 are mounted on a carrier made of special materials harmless for the health of the babies. Each of the IP cameras 1 has a specified internal IP address (which is not registered with the Internet authorities). IP camera 1 is via wireless internet connection connected to a router 2, and via router 2, wireless internet connection with the media server 3. Media server 3 is a server that performs image processing. The live flow of information (live streaming) is sensitive to packet transmission delay over the network and has allowed a limited tolerance of delay. This is the maximum period of time in which information from one end of the network to the other has to reach before being put into operation. The information that does not reach the user within the deadline can not be used. For this reason, the system must provide a minimum delay, and this is performed on the media server 3. On the media server 3 is made streaming video from a camera 1. Router 2 is assigned a static (unchanging) public IP address. Router 2 memorizes the internal IP address and diverts to those addresses, and in addition, those who access the router 2 knows only two external registered IP address. Web server 4 is a computer that contains the web pages or web sites. In addition, on the server 4 is installed a software for administration activities, orders, cameras, and applications for registration of users who have an account, and who wants to watch the baby.
Web server 4 has a static IP address. Presentations that are stored on it can be accessed through the known Web address. Since the Web site that allows the user to view footage of babies is placed on this server 4, users access it, and thus enable him to follow the video.
Web server 4 via Internet network communicates with the second router 2. Web server 4 "knows" from which IP camera 1 should get a record, and is directed to the actual camera 1 by the router 2. The recording from IP camera 1 transmitted to a media server 3, and then back via router 2 to web server 4 which "takes" video from media server 3. The system includes a monitoring device 5, which can be computer, mobile phone or technical equipment that can transmit video signal. Computer 6 for administering is connected via router 2 and via Internet with the web server 4. The computer 6 is located in the maternity hospital and serves for checking orders and assigning camera according to the orders. The network over which the system operates according to the invention is independent of the network of maternity hospitals.
The method of observing babies in a maternity hospital, according to the invention, schematically shown in Figure 2, consists of four activities. The method begins with making the payment by user in the payment terminal. The payment terminal is located in the maternity hospital and directly related to the IP cameras 1.
A system checks is there camera 1 available. If there is an available camera 1 , the user, after the payment, gets a user name and password which he will use to access the web application where he will register. In case there is no available camera, user can not make a payment. After application, the user is informed that it is necessary to wait for data verification and account activation and during this time in the data is being checked. Immediately after the application, user data are visible in the administrating software. The Midwife at the hospital (or any other person in charge of it) checks entered data and performs validation of the order. If all the data that are required from a user are correct, a corresponding order is linked to the camera 1 and the data transfer is activated. From that moment the order is active. At the same time the user can log in via web presentation and after the introduction of a unique user name and password will allow observation of his baby. Babies can be viewed from any monitoring device 5, which may include: the remote computer, laptop, mobile phone or other device that allows you to view videos.
