Abstract
The present invention relates to a frame (1) for a window, by which an interior of a building is separated from the exterior, wherein the frame (1) comprises at least one ventilation opening (11) directed to the interior, and at least one ventilation opening (12) directed to the exterior, wherein the ventilation opening (11) directed to the interior and the ventilation opening (12) directed to the exterior are connected to one another via a ventilation channel (13), and at least one ventilation device (2) arranged between the ventilation opening (11) directed to the interior and the ventilation opening (12) directed to the exterior is integrated in the frame (1), wherein the ventilation device (2) comprises a ventilation housing (21) and at least one means (22) for generating airflows arranged in the ventilation housing (21), wherein the ventilation housing (21) comprises a rotatable separating element (23) by which the ventilation channel (13) is divided into an inner section (14) connected to the ventilation opening (11) directed to the interior (11), and an outer section (15) connected to the ventilation opening (12) directed to the exterior, wherein the means (22) for generating airflows is arranged in a first rotational position of the separating element (23) in such a manner that the flow direction in the ventilation channel (13) points from the inner section (14) to the outer section (15), and in a second rotational position of the separating element (23), the means (22) for generating air flows is arranged in such a manner that the flow direction in the ventilation channel (13) points from the outer section (15) to the inner section (14); and the invention also relates to a ventilation device (2) that is suitable for use in such a frame (1).
