Abstract

Es wird eine Ummantelung (1) für ein thermisch isoliertes Rohr (2) mit einem Mantelrohr (3) und einer vom Mantelrohr (3) umfassenden Isolierung (4) vorgeschlagen. Zudem ist eine wenigstens einer Mantelrohrstirnseite zugeordnete ringförmige Abdeckung (6) vorgesehen, die dicht an das Mantelrohr (3) angeschlossen ist und eine Durchbrechung für das Rohr (2) aufweist. Um vorteilhafte Dichtverhältnisse zu schaffen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die ringförmige Abdeckung (6) wenigstens im Bereich der Durchbrechung mit einer Dichtung (7) aus einem mikroporösen Fluorpolymer ausgestattet ist.
