Description
BIOCIDAL COMPOSITION AS AN ANT REPELLANT AND METHOD FOR ITS
MANUFACTURING
Biocidal product designed to remove ants and method for carrying it out
The invention relates to a biocidal product for removal of ants in built spaces and their proximity and to a process for obtaining this product. The product is presented as a powder that is sprayed in areas of movement of ants. The product is environmentally friendly and nontoxic to humans and vertebrates, functioning as a repellent for ants.
There is a composition of substances acting as the patented biocide to nr.PCT/US1999/006183 alcadiene containing group selected from citrate, Geranios and neral.
Alcadienes are used in a range of 1% to 50%. Excipients used are liquids such as vegetable oil, acetone, water, emulsifiers, etc. with water. Or solid as inorganic oxides, silica, alumina, clay, diatomaceous earth, powdered carbohydrates such as corn starch, dextran, cellulose. The disadvantage of this composition is the presence of excipients using alcadienelor and as such acetone which have harmful effects on human health.
It is also known another similar product patented by
PCT/FI2006/050447 whose composition contains the active substance boric acid at a rate of 17% - 28%. The mixture containins alum, potassium sorbate, wheat flour, sugar, onion, milk powder, glycerin, citric acid, water.
One of the unsolved problems of any product whether it be pesticides or insecticides based on natural and artificial agents, is the elimination or permanent removal of ants, which involves regular and / or prolonged use which has harmful effects on human and vertebretes health causing neurological disorders, mental illness, immune
disorders like chronic fatigue syndrome or atopic dermatitis, rheumatic symptoms, etc., allergies, skin diseases, cancer, respiratory disease, liver disease, hereditary diseases, decreased fertility, etc. .. There are many coincidences which generate suspicions that most insecticides are responsible for some unexplained diseases of the class of immune disease, psysich alterations, debility and malaise.
According to studies, boric acid is when ingested or inhaled poisonous and cause acute illness, and exposure to boric acid over long periods causes severe chronic disease or death, which makes it obsolete.
The purpose of the invention is to remove the ants from buildings and their proximity without necessarily destroying them by using a repellent organic, ecological, non-toxic and harmless to humans and vertebrates.
The technical requirement solved by the invention is to produce the exact proportions of components at a certain temperature by precise timing and mixing pace to obtain a mixture to take action as a biocide to remove ants and to keep them far away.
The product composition according to the invention contains the following substances in powder form: Allium sativum 0.1% -3%, Capsicum annuum 0.1% -3%, Cinnamomum zeylanicum 0,1-3%, Ferula assa-foetida 0.1% -3%, Foeniculum vulgare0,l-3%, Myristica fragrans 0.1% -3% , Piper nigrum 0,1-3%, Syzygium aromaticum 0.1% -3%, Zingiber officinale 0.1-3%, 0.1% -3% NaHC03
(Natriumhydrogencarbonat) 30-80%, Na2H2P207
(Dinatriumdihydrogendiphosphat) 5% -20% and C6H10O5 (Amylum) 5% -40%.
The method of obtaining the product consists of thermo-physical processes and the processes underlying a timed mixing process, namely:
Step 1:
Substances Allium sativum 0.1% -3%, Capsicum annuum 0.1% -3%, Cinnamomum zeylanicum 0,1-3%, Ferula assa-foetida 0.1% -3%, Foeniculum vulgare0,l-3%, Myristica fragrans 0.1% -3% , Piper nigrum 0,1-3%, Syzygium aromaticum 0.1% -3%, Zingiber officinale 0.1-3%, 0.1% -3% get homogenized in a device for 10 minutes at a temperature of 5 ° C - 25 ° C.
Step 2:
The composition resulting from the homogenization of substances in step 1 get mixed with C6H10O5 (Amylum) 5% -40% in a powder mixing machine for 10 minutes at 25 ° C,
resulting in "pre-POWDER 1 ".
Step 3:
Composition "PRE-POWDER 1" get mixed with NaHCO3
(Natriumhydrogencarbonat) 30-80% and Na2H2P2O7
(Dinatriumdihydrogendiphosphat) 5% -20% in a powder mixing machine for 10 minutes at a temperature of 5 ° C - 25 ° C, resulting in "pre-POWDER 2".
Step 4: Composition of "PRE-POWDER 2" get homogenized in a device for 10 minutes at a temperature of 5 ° C - 25 ° C, resulting in final product powder.
Advantages compared to other compositions patented invention is characterized in that:
1. Composition which represents the hereby presented invention is non-toxic to humans and vertebrate animals - does not contain any pesticide, herbicide, fungicide or virucidal component like most of the other substances present in products on the markets worldwide.
2. Harmless to humans and vertebrate animals - the product is made of substances that basically belong to the food trade and do not contain preservatives or artificial colors.
3. Ecological in that it removes the ants and keep them away from buildings and their proximity without necessarily kill them.
4. The composition is designed to take effect quickly and longlasting and to avoid that the ants get accustomed to its ingredients like becoming resistant to insecticide chemicals used repeatedly or continuously which has happened in some cases of insecticides sold in world markets.
5. Powder constituting the present invention is easy to clean.

Biocidal product for removal of ants characterized in that it has the following composition: : Allium sativum 0.1% -3%, Capsicum annuum 0.1% -3%, Cinnamomum zeylanicum 0,1-3%, Ferula assa- foetida 0.1% -3%, Foeniculum vulgare0,l-3%, Myristica fragrans 0.1% -3% , Piper nigrum 0,1-3%, Syzygium aromaticum 0.1% -3%, Zingiber officinale 0.1-3%, 0.1% -3% NaHC03

2. Product composition according the claim 1, characterized in that it is a powder.
3. Method of production of the biocidal product designed to remove ants, according to the claim 1, characterized in that the sequence consists of the following steps:
step 1 - homogenizing substances Allium sativum 0.1% -3%, Capsicum annuum 0.1% -3%, Cinnamomum zeylanicum 0,1-3%, Ferula assa- foetida 0.1% -3%, Foeniculum vulgare0,l-3%, Myristica fragrans 0.1% -3% , Piper nigrum 0,1-3%, Syzygium aromaticum 0.1% -3%, Zingiber officinale 0.1-3%, 0.1% -3% in a device for 10 minutes at a temperature of 5 ° C - 25 ° C,
followed by step 2 - mixing of substances resulting from homogenization of step 1 as Allium sativum 0.1% -3%, Capsicum annuum 0.1% -3%,
Cinnamomum zeylanicum 0,1-3%, Ferula assa-foetida 0.1% -3%, Foeniculum vulgare0,l-3%, Myristica fragrans 0.1% -3% , Piper nigrum 0,1-3%, Syzygium aromaticum 0.1% -3%, Zingiber officinale 0.1-3%, 0.1% -3% with C6H10O5 (Amylum) 5% -40% in a mixing device powders for 10 minutes at 25 ° C, resulting in "pre-powder 1", followed by step 3 - powder mixing stage 2 results and "pre-powder 1" with
