Abstract

The present invention relates to a biosoluble mineral-wool fiber composition which can be more easily dissolved in a physiological medium. The present invention also relates to a biosoluble mineral-wool fiber. More particularly, the present invention relates to a biosoluble mineral-wool fiber composition and biosoluble mineral-wool fiber made from the composition, wherein the composition comprises a total SiO2 and Al2O3 content of 45 to 67 wt %, and a total content of CaO, MgO, Na2O and K2O and other components of 20.1 to 50 wt %, thus maintaining the thermal characteristics and physical properties of existing products and exhibiting improved biosolubility.
