Abstract

There is provided a vessel (10) comprising a plastics container (12) with an upstanding neck (13) around which is located a collar (14), to which is attached a release mechanism (16) for dispensing substances from the container. The collar (14) comprises a plurality of spaced barbs (32) which engage with a neck (13) of the container to prevent removal of the collar (14) through barbs engaging the neck at a number of positions. The collar (14) has two threaded portions (30, 32) respectively engaging with the release mechanism (16) and the neck (13), and an o-ring (40) sealing the plastics container (12) to the metal collar (14).
