Abstract

Eine elektrochemische Zelle (100) weist mindestens einen Elektrodenstapel (150) mit mindestens einer Ableitereinrichtung (110) und mindestens eine Umhüllung (130) auf. Die Umhüllung (130) umhüllt den Elektrodenstapel (150) zumindest teilweise und weist mindestens eine Durchtrittsstelle (140) vom Inneren zum Äußeren der Umhüllung für die mindestens eine Ableitereinrichtung (110) auf. An dieser Durchtrittsstelle (140) ist mindestens eine Schutzeinrichtung (120) zum Aufrechterhalten einer im Wesentlichen fluiddichten Eigenschaft der Umhüllung (130) im Bereich dieser Durchtrittsstelle (140), d.h. zum Minimieren einer Gefahr einer Beschädigung der Umhüllung (130) und/oder deren Siegelnaht im Bereich dieser Durchtrittsstelle (140) angeordnet.
