Abstract

본 발명은 에어백용 원단에 사용 가능한 폴리에스테르 원사에 관한 것으로, 특히, 185 °C에서 2분 동안 열처리 후 1.0 g/d의 인장강도에 처했을 때 신도가 1.65 % 내지 2.5 %이며, 인장강도 8.0 g/d에서부터 최고 인장강도까지 신도가 0.5% 내지 5%의 범위에서 추가 신장하는 폴리에스테르 원사 및 그의 제조방법, 이로부터 제조된 에어백용 원단에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 폴리에스테르 원사는 낮은 초기 모듈러스와 함께 우수한 기계적 물성올 확보함에 따라 에어백용 원단으로 사용시 우수한 수납성, 형태안정성과 함께 우수한 공기 차단 효과를 제공하며, 이와 동시에 승객에게 가해지는 층격올 최소화하여 탑승자를 안전하게 보호할 수 있다.
