Abstract

The present invention relates to an intraocular lens cartridge for injecting an intraocular lens into an eyeball and an injection mechanism using the same. One surface of a cartridge body having a cylindrical shape is cut in a lengthwise direction thereof to protrusively form a pair of wing parts on both sides thereof. A folding part is disposed on an opposite surface of each of the wing parts to allow the cartridge body to be rotated. A cartridge guide hole for fixing the intraocular lens and smoothly discharging the intraocular lens is recessively formed in an inner surface of the cartridge body connecting the wing part to the folding part. A cartridge discharge part having a cone shape is disposed on a side of the cartridge body to discharge the intraocular lens injected into an inner receiving space. According to the present invention, a cartridge on which the intraocular lens is mounted, a cylinder for discharging the intraocular lens mounted in the receiving space of the cartridge, and a plunger may be simplified in structure to easily discharge the intraocular lens into an eyeball of a patient and reduce operation time.
