Abstract

The present invention relates to a hybrid cell system provided with a serial switching circuit, which uses the serial switching circuit to couple a high-output secondary cell to a high-capacity low voltage fuel cell, and constantly switch a low-voltage serial circuit and a high-voltage serial circuit to perform charging and discharging in order to lengthen the usable time of the cells. The hybrid cell system comprises: a plurality of secondary cells arranged to be series/parallel switchable; a high-capacity backup fuel cell; and a series/parallel switching unit that performs series/parallel switching of the secondary cells according to a charge or discharge operating mode signal, and connects the fuel cell to the secondary cells in series or in parallel.
