Abstract

Shuttle for a warehouse comprising: a frame provided with a plurality of wheels adapted to allow the translation of said device along a storage lane; a platform adapted to provide a support surface for a load; means of movement operationally connected to one or more of said wheels to enable said translation of said device; means of command and control of said means of movement; means of supplying power associated with said frame and operationally connected to said means of command and control and to said means of movement; means of position detection adapted to send and receive a positioning signal along a direction parallel to said storage lane, operationally connected to said means of command and control. The means of supplying power are preferably lithium batteries. The means of position detection is preferably a laser beam.
