Specifically, the tuner 72 of the receiving terminal 33 selects the central segment of each physical channel in order from the lowest frequency, and acquires the TS of the central segment.
- the NIT and SDT of the one-segment broadcasting broadcasted in the central segments 91 and 93 are obtained from the NIT-actual and SDT-actual of the TS of the central segments 91 and 93 of the physical channel to which terrestrial digital broadcasting is assigned.
- the NIT and SDT of the community broadcast broadcast in the central segment 92-1 are acquired from the TS NIT actual and SDT of the central segment 92-1 of the physical channel to which the community broadcast is assigned. Also, from the NIT other and SDT other of the TS of the central segment 92-1, four community broadcast NITs and SDTs assigned to the non-central segments 92-2 to 92-5 are acquired. Then, a channel selection table including channel selection information for one-segment broadcasting and community broadcasting is created from the NIT and SDT acquired as described above.
- the receiving terminal 33 sequentially scans the central segment of each physical channel. As a result, the NIT and SDT of all community broadcasts of the physical channel corresponding to the central segment 92-1 can be acquired. Therefore, the receiving terminal 33 can create a channel selection table including channel selection information for one-segment broadcasting and community broadcasting in a short time. As a result, the service name of the broadcast service that can be selected can be quickly presented to the user.
- the scan when creating the channel selection information table when NIT other and SDT other are not arranged in the TS of the central segment is as shown in FIG. 14B. That is, as shown in FIG. 14B, when the receiving terminal recognizes that the received TS is the TS of the central segment of the multi-segment broadcasting by the multi-segment information descriptor of NIT ⁇ actual, the receiving terminal sequentially selects the TS of the non-central segment. It is necessary to scan and obtain NIT-actual and SDT-actual of each segment outside the center. Therefore, in this case, the scan time becomes long and is not efficient.
- FIG. 15 is a diagram for explaining the receiving terminal 100 and the receiving terminal 33 that are not compatible with conventional community broadcasting for receiving terrestrial digital broadcasting in the transmission / reception system 30.
- the conventional receiving terminal 100 generally scans the central segment of each physical channel in order from the lowest frequency, similarly to the receiving terminal 33, and creates a tuning table. However, since the receiving terminal 100 does not support community broadcasting, the NIT-actual multi-segment information descriptor arranged in the TS of the central segment of the physical channel to which community broadcasting is allocated is ignored. Therefore, the receiving terminal 100 does not malfunction, but cannot acquire NIT other and SDT other.
- a channel selection table is created from the NIT and SDT of the one-segment broadcasting and community broadcasting of the central segment of each physical channel as shown in FIG. Is done.
- the receiving terminal 33 supports community broadcasting, recognizes the NITNactual multi-segment information descriptor arranged in the TS of the central segment of the physical channel to which community broadcasting is assigned, and receives NIT other, SDT other can be acquired.
- the receiving terminal 33 creates a channel selection table from all the one-segment broadcasting and community broadcasting NITs and SDTs assigned to each physical channel.

- service names, service IDs, and frequencies of one-segment broadcasting assigned to the center segment of the fourth physical channel and community broadcasting for seven segments assigned to the fifth physical channel are registered.
- the channel selection table created by the receiving terminal 100 is first assigned to the central segment of the first physical channel, similarly to the channel selection table created by the receiving terminal 33.
- the service name “One Seg Service 1”, the service ID “ID1”, and the frequency “F1” of the one-seg broadcasting thus registered are registered.
- the service name “One Seg Service 2”, the service ID “ID7”, and the frequency “F7” of the one seg broadcasting allocated to the central segment of the third physical channel is registered.
- the service name, service ID, and frequency of the one-segment broadcasting allocated to the central segment of the fourth physical channel and the community broadcasting allocated to the central segment of the fifth physical channel are registered.
- the conventional receiving terminal 100 when the conventional receiving terminal 100 receives the terrestrial digital broadcast in the transmission / reception system 30, the receiving terminal 100 does not support the community broadcast, and therefore selects the channel selection information for the community broadcast in the non-central segment. It cannot be registered in the station table. However, the conventional receiving terminal 100 can also acquire channel selection information for one-segment broadcasting transmitted from the terrestrial broadcasting station 31. Therefore, the terrestrial digital broadcasting of the present invention does not disturb the reception of the one-segment broadcasting by the conventional receiving terminal 100.
- FIG. 17 is a flowchart of the channel selection table creation process by the receiving terminal 33.
- the channel selection table creation process is started when, for example, the user instructs acquisition of the channel selection table.
- step S51 the control unit 80 sets a predetermined physical channel (for example, a physical channel with the lowest frequency) as a target physical channel to be processed. Then, the control unit 80 supplies the frequency of the central segment of the target physical channel to the tuner 72 as channel selection information.
- a predetermined physical channel for example, a physical channel with the lowest frequency
- step S52 the tuner 72 selects the central segment of the target physical channel based on the channel selection information from the control unit 80.
- step S53 the tuner 72 determines whether or not the TS of the central segment of the target physical channel has been received. If it is determined that the TS has been received, the process proceeds to step S54.
- step S54 the demultiplexer 73 separates and acquires NITualactual and SDT actual from the TS of the central segment of the target physical channel received by the tuner 72.
- step S55 the demultiplexer 73 determines whether or not the received TS is a central segment TS of the multi-segment broadcasting based on the NIT-actual multi-segment information descriptor acquired in step S54.
- step S53 if it is determined in step S53 that the TS of the central segment of the target physical channel has not been received, or if it is determined that the TS received in step S55 is not the TS of the central segment of multi-segment broadcasting, The process proceeds to step S57.
- step S57 if it is determined in step S57 that all physical channels are the target physical channels, in step S59, the control unit 80 causes the NIT actual and SDT other acquired by the demultiplexer 73, or NIT actual, NIT other. Therefore, a tuning table is created based on SDT actual and SDT other.
- the community broadcast station 32 generates a community broadcast NIT as a multi-segment broadcast, and includes a NITTSactual describing the NIT of the central segment and a TS including the NIT other describing the NIT of the non-central segment as the central segment.
- the receiving terminal 33 only receives the TS of the central segment of each physical channel of the community broadcast, and recognizes the channel selection information of all community broadcasts from the NIT actual and NIT other included therein. Can do.
- the community broadcasting station 32 transmits the NIT of the non-central segment as NIT other defined in the existing terrestrial digital broadcasting, the community broadcasting is consistent with the existing terrestrial digital broadcasting system. Broadcasting will ensure interoperability.
- NIT-actual includes NIT of segments other than its own segment.
- the receiving terminal 33 receives the TS of the central segment of the community broadcast transmitted from the community broadcast station 32, and extracts NIT actual and NIT other from the TS. Then, the receiving terminal 33 creates a channel selection table based on the NIT actual and NIT other. Accordingly, the receiving terminal 33 only receives the TS of the central segment of each physical channel of the community broadcast, and recognizes channel selection information of all the community broadcasts transmitted from the NIT actual and NIT other included therein. can do.
- the receiving terminal 33 selects the multi-segment broadcasting based on the function of extracting both NIT actual and NIT other from the TS of the central segment of the multi-segment broadcasting, and NIT actual and NIT other. This can be realized by adding a function for registering station information in the channel selection table. Therefore, according to the receiving terminal 33, it is possible to suppress an increase in cost necessary to support community broadcasting.
- SDT other is arranged in the TS of the central segment.
- SDT other may not be arranged.
- the SDT / other may not be arranged.
- one NIT other is provided for the entire non-central segment, but the non-central segment is classified into a plurality of groups (for example, groups for each broadcaster community broadcast station 32) NIT other may be provided for each group.
- the series of processes of the community broadcast station 32 and the receiving terminal 33 described above can be executed by hardware or can be executed by software.
- a program constituting the software is installed in the computer.
- the computer includes, for example, a general-purpose personal computer capable of executing various functions by installing various programs by installing a computer incorporated in dedicated hardware.
- FIG. 18 is a block diagram showing a hardware configuration example of a personal computer that executes the above-described series of processing by a program.
- a CPU Central Processing Unit
- ROM Read Only Memory
- RAM Random Access Memory
- An input / output interface 205 is further connected to the bus 204.
- An input unit 206, an output unit 207, a storage unit 208, a communication unit 209, and a drive 210 are connected to the input / output interface 205.

- the communication unit 209 includes a network interface and the like.
- the drive 210 drives a removable medium 211 such as a magnetic disk, an optical disk, a magneto-optical disk, or a semiconductor memory.
- the CPU 201 loads, for example, a program stored in the storage unit 208 to the RAM 203 via the input / output interface 205 and the bus 204 and executes the program. A series of processes are performed.
- the program can be installed in the storage unit 208 via the input / output interface 205 by attaching the removable medium 211 to the drive 210.
- the program can be received by the communication unit 209 via a wired or wireless transmission medium and installed in the storage unit 208.
- the program can be installed in the ROM 202 or the storage unit 208 in advance.
- the program executed by the computer may be a program that is processed in time series in the order described in this specification, or in parallel or at a necessary timing such as when a call is made. It may be a program for processing.
