Abstract

The present invention relates to a buoyant windmill, and more specifically to a buoyant windmill having improved structures for a water tank and a buoyant body, which can be installed easily and economically in any place such as on the land, on the sea or on a lake, etc., and can obtain a strong rotational force even with a relatively weak wind force. The buoyant windmill according to the present invention comprises: a vertical rotation axis rotating by wind force; a buoyant body having a central part connected and secured perpendicularly onto the vertical rotation axis to thus support the weight of the vertical rotation axis directly; a housing formed in a hollow barrel to be able to store a fluid used to make the buoyant body float; a vertical rotation axis support provided at a predetermined position on the vertical rotation axis that is connected and secured perpendicularly onto the buoyant body, thereby supporting a rotation center axis of the vertical rotation axis; and flyers connected and secured onto the vertical rotation axis, thereby transferring a rotational force by wind force to the vertical rotation axis. With a simple package structure, the buoyant windmill according to the present invention is economical and can be installed freely in any place.
