Abstract

The subject of the invention is a crash buffer for railway vehicles, wagons or passenger coaches. The invention consists in a buffer built of two tubes (1 and 2) with one of the tubes (1) having an impact plate mounted at one of its ends (3) while the other tube (2) has a plate to be fixed on the wagon at one of its ends (4) the interior tube (2) being fitted with a diagram (5) which closes the force circuit between the plate impact (3) and the interior tube (2) the force transmitted through a spring (6) while both the exterior tube (1) and the interior tube (2) are fitted with effort concentrators such as circular canals (a and b) arranged in the interior, or undulations. Additionally, either one or both tubes (1 and 2) can have longitudinal excavations (c and d) symmetrically placed with regard to longitudinal canals a and b respectively. The main advantages of the invention are: storing and usage of a massive amount of energy, simple constructive solution, low costs.
