Abstract
The invention relates to a process for the electrodeposition of calcium-phosphorus coatings onto a rough metallic support comprising the electrolysis of a solution containing calcium ions and phosphate ions. The application of an electric current in pulsed mode between the support that forms the cathode and a counterelectrode, the electrolyte comprising a solution of Ca(NO3)2.4H2O and of NH4H2PO4, makes it possible to obtain coatings comprising hydroxyapatite, which are optionally doped, compact and adhere to the support. The invention also relates to implantable materials comprising such coatings.
