Abstract

The invention relates to a method, a display apparatus (100) and an electronic device (400) for processing touch events. The display apparatus (100) comprises a touch screen device (106) and a controller (101). The touch screen device (106) receives touch events as a result of objects touching the touch screen device (106) at respective positions. The objects belong to multiple groups of objects that belong together. The controller (101) is constructed for detecting movement of positions of the touch events on the touch screen device (106). The controller (101) is further constructed for determining whether the movement of a subset of positions belongs to a pre-defined gesture. The pre-defined gesture indicates that the objects associated with the subset of positions belong to one of the multiple groups. The touch events for which is determined that the movement of the subset of positions belongs to the pre-defined gesture are assigned by the controller (101) to one of the multiple groups.
