Abstract

The invention relates to an operating fluid for a vapour circuit processing device having a vapour generator (3), an expander (4), a condenser (5), and a reservoir (2) for the operating fluid, comprising a working medium which vaporizes in the vapour generator as a result of heat being supplied, performs mechanical work in the vapour phase by expanding in the expander, and condenses in the condenser, and an ionic liquid which mixes with the working medium, the melting point of the mixture being below -5 °C.
