The present invention regards the technical field of those containers created with sheets or laminates of single or coupled materials, 'susceptor' materials and those similar, utilised for cooking foods in microwave and traditional ovens, for conserving foods in refrigerators, for the consumption of or the taking away of various products. In particular, the present invention concerns containers and supports for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving foods in refrigerators, for the consumption and taking away of various products, created beginning with sheets or laminates of various materials, foldable according to the pre-defined scores, in order to obtain a given form with given dimensions, variously usable according to the forms and dimensions themselves and the material of which they are composed.
State of the Art
The cooking of foods in microwave or in traditional ovens occurs, usually, in containers for which the forms and dimensions are fixed at the moment of production of the same, by an irreversible shaping process. Such forms and dimensions cannot then be varied to please once they have been conferred to the container itself. The same considerations can be made for containers destined for the conservation of foods in refrigerators, for the consumption of and the taking away of various products. The containers previously described are created of various materials and with the necessary technologies for the transformation of the material of which they are composed, keeping in mind the destined use of the final container. It is in fact well- known, for example, that the material of which a container for the cooking of foods in a microwave oven must be composed must have particular requisites that are not necessary for cooking in a traditional oven, and vice-versa. The same analogous considerations can be extended to containers for the conservation of foods in refrigerators, and for the consumption of and the taking away of various products. As it has already been observed, one limitation of these containers is that the dimensions and the conformation are already established and cannot be varied according to the real necessity, which is the function of the food to be cooked, conserved, consumed or taken away.
Another limitation of these containers is constituted by the fact that, being already formed, they are cumbersome during storage and, as a result, sensibly reduce the volume of space available for placing other products in storage areas. Another limitation consists of the fact that these containers are constituted of various materials (for example aluminium, paper-plastic, card) with a limited amount of elasticity and with an elevated memory of deformation. As a result, if said containers are subject to mechanical shock during transport or storage, their shape becomes altered, compromising, in some cases, their use and/or their aesthetic aspect. A further limitation of said containers is constituted by the fact that, by virtue of their well-defined and non-modifiable shape, it is often complicated to extract the foods from them while maintaining the integrity of these last. These and other difficulties and disadvantages can be overcome with the use of the present invention.
The principal aim of the present invention is to create sheets or laminates of various materials, and in particular of materials suitable for contact with foods, foldable according to pre-defined scores, in order to form, in an extremely simple and practical manner, containers, baking-tins, grills and packaging of various shapes and dimensions, specifically adaptable to food products of various nature, for their cooking in microwave or in traditional ovens, for conservation in refrigerators, for the consumption of or for the taking away of the products contained. The principal aim of the invention is therefore to obtain a sheet for cooking in microwave or in traditional ovens, for the conservation of foods in refrigerators, for the consumption of or for the taking away of various products, characterised by the fact of having special scores such that it can be permanently, but reversibly, formed into containers, baking-tins, grills and various packaging, of multiple forms and dimensions. Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear clear from the following description of some embodiments of the invention, given as non-limiting examples in the figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. With reference to figure 1, a sheet (1), substantially quadrangular in shape formed, for example, by at least one layer of paper material and of a material of a different nature (metallic, plastic, etc.), is scored in the factory with transversal score lines (2) created, in the example shown in the figure, along the entire length of the sheet itself, with two series of longitudinal scores (3) created in proximity to the longer sides of the sheet and with a series of diagonal scores (4, 5, 6 and 7) of diverse lengths and in diverse positions. Specifically:
- the diagonals (4) start from the vertices of the corners of the sheet, are inclined at 45° in respect to the sides of the sheet and terminate at the intersection with the longitudinal score (3) most internal among those of the nearest series;
- the diagonals (5) that constitute a "zig-zag" pattern of perpendicular consecutive segments, are inclined at 45° in respect to the sides of the sheet and have extremes that lie alternatively on one of the longer sides of the sheet and on the most external longitudinal score (3) among those of the nearest series;
- the diagonals (6) begin from the median points of the longest sides of the sheet, are inclined at 45° in respect to the sides of the sheet and are perpendicular between themselves, terminating intersecting the second longitudinal score (3) starting from the outside of that series that is nearest;

The sheet (1) is also provided with appendices (14), situated on the shorter sides of the sheet. The maximum distance, measured in a transversal sense, of the appendices (14), is equal to the distance between the most internal longitudinal scores (3), and the appendices (14) must be among them. Such appendices (14) are provided with a three- dimensional pattern (15), with a non-slip function, so that the appendices (14) are used as handles.
With reference to figure 2, it is possible to make, with simple folds, a container (16). The sheet (1) is folded along the chosen transversal score (2) to create the walls (17), and along the longitudinal score (3), identified by the intersection between the chosen transversal score (2) and diagonal score (4), to create the walls (18), provided with slits (13). After having raised the walls (17 and 18) to 90° the wings (19) are formed, provided with clippings (10), which are folded according to the diagonal scores (4). The appendices (14), present on the short sides of the sheet, are also folded, to form the handles of the container.
With reference to fig.3, after having joined the contiguous wings (19), these are folded back until they are flat against the walls (18) provided with slits (13). As can be seen from figure 4, the wings (19) are held against the walls (18) by means of the clippings (10) that are inserted into the slits (13) cut into the same walls (18). With reference to figure 5, a sheet (1) is folded along the transversal scores (2) alternatively in one direction then the other, to form an undulating grill; Successively, as shown in fig.6, the sheet (1) can be folded along the diagonals (5) in such a way as to form the lateral barriers (20) of the undulating grill. With reference to fig.7, partial cuts are made along the transversal score (2) on which the clippings are effected (9). Each of the two cuts extends from the external extremity of the transversal score (2), in correspondence to the edge of the sheet, and continues as far as the intersection of said transversal score with the second longitudinal score (3) starting from the one nearest to the extremity at the beginning of the cut, to create the container as in fig.8.
With reference to fig.8, a sheet formed into the shape of a box with a lid is shown, obtained by starting from what is illustrated in figure 7 and operating in the same way as is described and shown in the figures 2, 3 and 4. In particular
- the wall (21) is made by folding the sheet (1) along the transversal score (2) that has the clipping (9) and along the transversal score (2) that is symmetric to it in respect to the median transversal score (8);
- the wings (22), provided with the clippings (9 and 11) are formed by raising the walls (18 and 21) to 90°; the wings (22) are successively folded along the diagonal scores (7);
- the wings (19 and 22) are held against the walls (18) by means of the clippings (9, 10 and 11) that are inserted into the slits (13).
With reference to figure 9, an intermediate step to obtain a container in the shape of a baking-tin with two separate compartments is shown, created beginning with the single sheet (1). The folding procedure is entirely analogous to that illustrated and described by the figures 2, 3 and 4. In particular:
- the walls (23) are obtained by folding the sheet (1), in one direction then the other alternatively, along the transversal score (2), on which the internal extremes of the diagonal scores (6) of the sheet lie, and along the median transversal score (8);
- the wings (24), provided with the cuts (11 and 12) are formed by raising the walls (18 and 23) to 90°; the wings (24) are successively folded along the diagonal scores (6).
With reference to figure 10, the finished creation of the container with two compartments as in fϊg.9 is shown. The procedure of folding is entirely analogous to that illustrated and described in the figures 2, 3 and 4.
In particular the wings (19, 24) are held against the walls (18) by means of the clippings
(10, 11 and 12) that are inserted into the slits (13).
With reference to figure 11, a sheet (1) substantially of a regular hexagonal shape made, for example, of at least one layer of paper material and of another layer of a material of a different nature (metallic, plastic, etc.), is scored in the factory with parallel scores
(25) and perpendicular scores (26) at the sides of the sheet itself, as well as with diagonal scores (27), that lie on the geometric diagonals that pass through the centre of the circumscribed or inscribed circumference in the regular hexagon that defines the substantial shape of the sheet.
Specifically: - the parallel scores at the sides of the sheet (25), are disposed according to regular polygons that have a number equal to the sides of the sheet, with their sides parallel to each side of the sheet;
- the scores perpendicular to the sides of the sheet (26) originate at the vertices of the regular polygons that describe the scores parallel to the sides (25), are perpendicular to the two sides of the sheet nearest to the above cited origins and terminate at the sides of the sheet; the diagonal scores (27) originate at the vertices of the regular polygon that describes the scores parallel to the most internal sides, terminate at the vertices of the angles of the regular hexagon that defines the substantial shape of the sheet (1), nearest to the point of origin itself, and lie on the geometric diagonals that pass through the centre of the circumference circumscribed or inscribed in the basic regular hexagon.
Similar to what occurs with the sheet that is substantially quadrangular in shape illustrated in figure 1, the sheet (1), substantially of a regular hexagonal shape, is also provided with;
- clippings (10), created on the sides of the sheet, in proximity to the vertices; there are two for each side of the sheet and they are in pairs that are symmetric in respect to each of the diagonal scores (27); slits (13), created in proximity to the sides of the sheet; their shapes and positions are according to the shapes and positions of the clippings (10). The sheet (1) is also provided with appendices (14), situated at the sides of the sheet. The maximum length of the appendices (14), measured in the direction parallel to the side with which they are united, is equal to the distance between the most internal perpendicular scores (26) that intersect the side to which the appendix (14) pertains, and must be comprised among these. Said appendices (14) are provided with a three- dimensional pattern (15).
With reference to figure 12, it is possible to create, with simple folds, a container (28). The sheet (1) is folded along the chosen consecutive parallel scores (25) and along the respective perpendicular scores (26), whose extremes coincide with the vertices of the regular polygon individuated from the chosen parallel scores (25), to create the walls (29), provided with the slits (13). After having raised the walls (29) to 90°, the wings (19) are formed, provided with the clippings (10), that are folded along the diagonal scores (27). The appendices (14) present at the sides of the sheet are also folded, to form the handles of the container.
With reference to figure 13, after having paired the wings (19), provided with the clippings (10), these are folded back along the perpendicular scores (26), until they are flattened against the walls (29) provided with the slits (13).
As can be seen from figure 14, the wings (19) are held against the walls (29) by means of the clippings (10) that are inserted into the slits (13) cut into the walls (29). The regular polygonal sheet (1) can have, in principle, any number of sides. The discovery, it must be noted, is not limited to the representations given by the illustrations but can be subject to perfections and modifications by those skilled in the art without, however, departing from the limits of the patent.
The present invention permits numerous advantages and to overcome difficulties that could not have been overcome with the systems at present on sale.

Claims

1. Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products, characterised by the fact that it is provided with diverse series of transversal scores (2), longitudinal scores (3), and diagonal scores (4, 5, 6 and 7) that intersect between them, and that is ready to be folded according to the guiding lines defined by said scores, in order to be formed into various configurations such as containers, baking-tins, grills, and various packaging, of multiple shapes and dimensions, being also provided with various series of clippings (9, 10, 11 and 12) and slits (13), that contribute to form, all together, a system of reverse hooking, useful to confer stability to a given configuration that one chooses to shape.
2. Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products, according to claim 1, characterised by the fact that it is substantially quadrangular in shape.
3. Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products, according to claim 2, characterised by the fact that, in order to create a baking-tin, said sheet is folded along the transversal scores (2) to create the walls (17), and along the longitudinal scores (3) to create the walls (18), that after having raised the walls (17 and 18) to 90° wings (19) are formed that are paired by folding them along the diagonal scores (4), that the wings (19) are folded along the scores (2 and 3) until they are flat against the walls (18), and that the wings (19) are held against the walls (18) by means of joints among the clippings (10) and the slits (13).

Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products, according to claim 2, characterised by the fact that said sheet (1) is folded along the transversal scores (2) in one direction and in the other, alternatively, to form an undulated grill, and that it can successively be folded along the diagonal scores (5) to form the lateral barriers of said undulated grill.

Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products according to claim 2, characterised by the fact that, in order to create a box with a lid, said sheet is partially cut at pre-defined points, folded along the transversal scores (2) to create the walls (17 and 21), and along the longitudinal scores (3) to create the walls (18), that after having raised the walls (17, 18 and 21) to 90° the wings (19 and 22) are formed that are coupled by folding them according to the diagonal scores (4 and 7), that the wings (19 and 22) are folded along the scores (2 and 3) until they are flattened against the walls (18), that the wings (19 and 22) are held against the walls (18) by means of joints among the clippings (9, 10 and 11) and the slits (13).

Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products according to claim 2, characterised by the fact that, in order to create a baking-tin with two separate compartments, said sheet is folded along the transversal scores (2) to create the walls (17), and along the longitudinal scores (3) to create the walls (18), that after having raised the walls (17 and 18) to 90° the wings (19 and 24) are formed and that are paired by folding them along the scores (4 and 6), that the wings (19 and 24) are held against the walls (18) by means of joints among the clippings (10, 11 and 12) and the slits (13).

Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products according to claims 2 or 3, characterised by the fact that said sheet has appendices (14), protruding on the shorter sides, that function as handles for the containers that are formed, said appendices (14) being furnished with a three-dimensional pattern (15) with the aim of improving the grip.
8. Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products according to claim 1, characterised by the fact that said sheet is of a substantially regular polygonal shape.
9. Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products according to claim 8, characterised by the fact that said sheet is provided with a first series of parallel scores (25) at the sides that describe a basic regular polygon, of a second series of scores (26) that are perpendicular to the first series of scores, of a third series of scores that lie on the diagonals (27) passing through the centre of the circumference that is circumscribed or inscribed in the basic regular polygon that gives shape to the sheet, that the three series of cited scores are intersecting between them, and which can easily be folded according to the guiding lines defined by said scores (25, 26 and 27) in order to be shaped into various configurations such as containers, baking-tins and various packaging of multiple shapes and dimensions, the above said sheet being also provided with diverse series of clippings (10) and slits (13) that contribute to form, all together, a system of reverse hooking, useful to confer stability to the configuration that one chooses to form.

Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products according to claim 9, characterised by the fact that said sheet is folded along the scores parallel to the sides of the sheet (25) to create walls (29), that after having raised said walls (29) to 90° wings (19) are formed that are paired by folding them according to the diagonal scores (27), that said wings (19) are folded along the scores (26) that are perpendicular to the sides of the sheet until they are flattened against the walls (29), that the wings (19) are held against walls (29) by means of joints among the clippings (10) and slits (13).
11. Sheet for cooking in microwave and in traditional ovens, for conserving in refrigerators, for consuming or for taking away various products to claim 10, characterised by the fact that said sheet is provided with appendices (14), protruding on the sides that define a basic regular polygon, that function as handles for the containers formed when one carries out a fold along the score that lies on one side of the basic regular polygon and that separates the appendix (14) from the basic regular polygon, said appendices (14) being provided with a three-dimensional pattern (15) with the aim of improving the grip.
