  • the multimedia-program transmission transmitted through content servers (MSO) 303 may be received at set-top-box (STB). From STB, another media (cable) may connect the STB to the Television (TV) set of the end users 305.

  • the Schedule list may also include definitions and display parameters of selected portion of display elements, such as dimensions of display, positions, resolutions, shapes for displaying multimedia elements, brightness level, sound strings and other display characteristics associated with a display unit.
  • the custom display as a new channel with the customized and localized display content is generated by selection, positioning and merging using the display data from the server, which is assigned a relay frequency at block 407 and relayed to the end user for viewing the content in multiple display region.

Système et procédé permettant de générer une pluralité d’options d’affichage segmentant la zone d’écran d’affichage en une pluralité de segments, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à recevoir des données de diffusion de canal pour au moins un relais de canal ayant des données/informations de programme audio-vidéo (A/V) multimédia; attribuer une fréquence de relais audit canal; recevoir des données de fréquence de relais par le biais du serveur de données; accéder à la liste de programmes; créer plusieurs régions en fonction de ladite liste de programmes; fusionner lesdites régions d’affichage pour créer un nouveau canal; attribuer une fréquence de relais audit nouveau canal ayant plusieurs régions d’affichage; relayer le canal ayant plusieurs régions d’affichage.
