- the height of the projection 2a is appropriately set in accordance with the stroke length of the switch button 10 depression.
- the height of the protrusion 2a can be set so that the stroke length of the switch button 10 is about 0.2 mm by adding a margin to the movable stroke (deeply shaped depth) of the conductor 4.
- the height of the projection 2a can be, for example, 0.05 mm to 0.25 mm from the surface of the thin portion 2b.

- FIG. 3 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing a state in which the switch button in the switch mechanism according to the first embodiment of the present invention is pressed.
- the switch button 10 When the switch button 10 is pressed by the operator, the wiring board 5 and the illumination sheet 8 and the like are pressed in the direction of the support plate 2. Along with this, the peripheral portion of the conductor 4 in contact with the second electrode 7 is displaced downward. At this time, since the central portion of the conductor 4 is supported by the projection 2a, the central portion of the conductor 4 is pressed by the projection 2a by the displacement of the peripheral portion of the conductor 4, and the concave central portion Deforms as it bulges.
- the central portion of the raised conductor 4 comes in contact with the first electrode 6 of the wiring substrate, whereby electrical conduction between the first electrode 6 and the second electrode 7 is obtained.
- the protrusion 2a promotes deformation of the central portion of the conductor 4 when the switch button 10 is pressed, and causes the repulsive force to recognize an operation feeling that the operator of the switch button 10 presses the switch button 10. Has a function to facilitate.
- the pressing of the switch button 10 is released, the wiring board 5, the illumination sheet 8, and the like are displaced upward (return to the original position).
- the pressing of the central portion 4 a of the conductor 4 by the projection 2 a of the support plate 2 is also released, and the conductor 4 returns to the original shape.
- the electrical conduction between the first electrode 6 and the central portion 4a of the conductor 4 is released.
- the thin-walled portion 2b of the support plate 2 is bent and the projection 2a is displaced downward.
- This displacement has a function of giving the operator a clear sense of operation of the switch button 10 between the start of pressing of the switch button 10 and the contact of the conductor 4 with the first electrode 6, and the conductor 4 After coming into contact with the first electrode 6, it has a function of suppressing the fatigue failure of the switch button 10. Therefore, the effect of the bending of the thin portion 2b will be separately described before and after the conductor 4 comes in contact with the first electrode 6.
- FIG. 4 is a graph showing the relationship between the pressing amount of the switch button and the repulsive force (operation feeling of the operator).
- the switch mechanism 1 of the present invention is compared with the switch mechanism 401 without the thin portion shown in FIG.
- the switch button 10, 410 of the switch mechanism 1, 401 is gradually pushed in, the disc-shaped conductor 4, 404 is pressed at its central portion by the protrusions 2a, 402a and begins to deform so as to be raised.
- the thin portion 2b is also bent due to the repulsive force.
- the repulsive force of the conductor 4, 404 eventually reaches its maximum value (point P1). After that, the repulsive force of the conductor 4, 404 decreases as it is pushed. Along with this, in the switch mechanism 1 of the present invention, the thin portion 2b which has been bent also starts to be restored.
- the switch button 10, 410 is further depressed, the central portion of the conductor 4, 404 contacts the first electrode 6, 406, and the conductor 4, 404 causes the first electrode 6, 406 and the second electrode 7, 407 Electrical conduction is obtained (point P2). Thereafter, since the conductor 4, 404 can not be deformed, the repulsive force starts to increase again due to the rigidity of the support plate 2, 402 and so on.
- the operator recognizes the feeling of operation of the switch button 10, 410 by the change of the repulsive force from the point P1 to the point P2.
- the thin portion 2b is also bent along with the increase in the repulsive force of the conductor 4 until the maximum repulsive force position (point P1) is reached from the start of pressing, and the protrusion 2a is displaced in the pressing direction. . Then, when the position of the maximum repulsive force (point P1) is exceeded, the bending of the thin portion 2b is restored along with the decrease of the repulsive force of the conductor 4, and the protrusion 2a also tries to return to the original position.
- the switch mechanism 1 of the present invention has a greater change in the repulsive force relative to the change in the amount of depression as compared to the switch mechanism 401 without the thin portion shown in FIG. Becomes steeper). Due to the change in the repulsive force, the operator of the switch mechanism 1 of the present invention can obtain a clearer feeling of operation than when operating the switch mechanism 401 shown in FIG. 41 even if the movable stroke of the conductor 4 is short. it can.
- the function of the thin portion 2b after the conductor 4 comes in contact with the first electrode 6 will be described.
- the central portion of the conductor 4 abuts on the first electrode 6, the pressing force of the switch button 10 is applied to the projection 2a.
- the thin portion 2b is bent by this pressing force, and the protrusion 2a is displaced downward by an amount corresponding to the bending of the thin portion 2b. That is, the height of the protrusions 2a on the surface of the support plate 2 is reduced.
- the deformation along the projection 2 a of the switch button 10 is alleviated, the stress generated at the central portion of the switch button 10 can be reduced and the life of the switch button 10 can be extended.
- the switch button 410 in the switch mechanism 401 without a thin portion as shown in FIG. 41 since the projection 402a is not displaced downward, the angle of the chevron along the projection 402a of the switch button 410 is greater than that of the switch mechanism of the present invention. It becomes smaller. That is, the stress generated at the central portion of the switch button 410 is increased. Therefore, when the switch button 410 is repeatedly pressed, the switch button 410 in the switch mechanism 401 shown in FIG. 41 is more easily fatigue-destructed than the switch button 10 in the switch mechanism 1 of the present invention.
- the switch mechanism of the present invention by displacing the projection when pressing the switch button, it is possible to provide the operator with a clear sense of operation and to prolong the life of the switch button.
- the illumination sheet can be interposed between the switch button and the wiring board, and the configuration and its assembly can be simplified.
- the form of the support plate is not limited to the form as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 and may be any form as long as it can be deformed when the switch button 10 is pressed.
- a support plate as shown in FIGS. 5 to 10 can also be applied. 5 to 10 show schematic cross-sectional views of the support plate.
- the support plate 22 shown in FIG. 5 has the same shape as the support plate 2 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, but the protrusion 22a is solid (the back surface of the support plate 22 corresponds to the protrusion 22a). Recess is not formed).
- Such a support plate 22 can be manufactured by shaping the projection 22 a and the thin portion 22 b by forging.
- the thickness of the protrusion 32a is also equal to the thickness of the thin portion 32b.
- Such a support plate 32 can be manufactured by first forming the regions of the thin portion 32 b and the protrusions 32 a by etching or the like, and then forming the protrusions 32 a by drawing.
