Abstract
입력 오디오 신호에서 정현파 성분을 제외한 나머지 성분의 신호를 효율적으로 부호화하거나 복호화하는 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 오디오 신호의 부호화 방법 및 장치는 소정 임계 주파수 이하의 저주파수 신호에 대한 정현파 분석을 수행하여 정현파 신호들을 추출한 다음 입력 오디오 신호에서 정현파 신호를 제외한 나머지 차신호에 대하여 선형 예측 코딩 분석을 이용한 부호화를 수행하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
