Description
DESCRIPTION
HEADWEAR
Our invention is related with headwears made of antibacterial and hypoallergenic cotton terry grasping the whole head.
A suitable headwear is unavailable for persons playing sports, having a situation nesessitating to cover their whole heads and having chemotheraphy, to protect their heads. The headwears such as caps, hats, forage caps and berets are unresponsive aganist the needs. Cancer patients loose their entire hair as a result of the chemotheraphy and sweat a lot as a side effect of the treatment. These people use caps or false hair to cover their heads. However, as the cap do not cover the whole head, the open surfaces of the head is exposed to cold and in the case of false hair, as it is manufactured from synthetic materials, it causes excessive sweating. Due to these disadvantages, the cancer patients fall ill easier. Furthermore, as the existing headwear are manufactured with aesthetic purposes or for protection from the sun, they do not have the sweat absorption feature.
In addition to these, as the existing headwear are manufactured from normal fabrics, they do not show an antimicrobial and hypoallergenic characteristic. Usage of such products is not suitable for people who are sensitive from microbial aspect. The users can easily be affected by the microorganisms accumulated on the fabric and wounds and areas open to infection can be infected by these microorganisms. Additionally, people who have a sensitive medical structure can be affected by the body wastes secreted by sweating and can be infected. This can be a serious problem especially for cancer patients and patients of illnesses suchlike.
Our invention is manufactured from antibacterial and hypoallergenic cotton terry. Cotton terry is preferred for having sweat absorbtion property. At the same time, in order to give antimicrobial property to the terry, it is processed afterwards its manufacture and gained antimicrobial property. Owing to this property, microbial inhabitation within the fabric is prevented and suitable protection is provided for people having sensitive medical structure. Furthermore, hygenic cotton terry creates a healthy environment for allergic people and people having such allergies can use our invention with no difficulty.
This invention can be applied to models such as berets and caps with different alternatives. Protecting the user by surrounding the whole head is the common characteristics of the mentioned models. This model extends to ears and nape and provides a complete protection for the head by covering the ear and nape regions. By covering the whole head (including the ears and nape) , the body fluid accumulated as a result of sweating in these regions is absorbed by terry and the head is kept dry in this manner. Thus, the risk of getting cold due to sweating is eliminated. Furthermore, by covering the whole head by antibacterial fabric, the open wounds and parts having the risk of infection on the head are protected.
