Abstract

 従来の無鉛ハンダ合金が有する接合強度がPb含有ハンダ合金に劣るという問題点を解消した接合信頼性を備える無鉛のハンダ合金の提供を図る。  ハンダ合金において、無鉛ハンダ材料に、800~1200°Cの範囲内である高温環境下で所定量の炭素を添加させたことを特徴とする。ハンダ合金の製造方法であって、無鉛ハンダ材料が投入された高温用金属溶解炉を800~1200°Cの範囲内である高温環境にまで加熱させ、無鉛ハンダ材料を溶解させる溶解工程と、溶解工程により溶解され高温環境下にある無鉛ハンダ材料(溶解無鉛ハンダ材料)へ所定量の炭素を添加する加炭工程と、溶解無鉛ハンダ材料と炭素とを攪拌する攪拌工程と、攪拌工程により攪拌された溶解無鉛ハンダ材料と前記炭素との混合物を鋳型に流し込んで混合物を冷却凝固させる冷却工程と、を備えることを特徴とする。
