Abstract

【課題】単純かつ安価な方式によって、RFIDタグ周囲の状況変化をリアルタイムに検知するのに好適なRFIDタグ、及び、RFIDタグ周囲の状況変化検知システムとその検知方法を提供する。 【解決手段】RFIDタグ2は、アンテナ20と、アンテナ20を介して電波を送受信する無線通信IC21と、RFIDタグ周囲の物理量の変化に応じて特性が変化する素子22Aとを備え、素子22Aの特性変化によってアンテナ20の利得が変化する。RFIDタグ2周囲の状況が変化したときに、素子22Aによってアンテナ20の利得が低下したり高まったりすることで、RFIDタグ2は、タグ通信装置3からの質問波RQに対する応答波ANSを送信できる状態と送信できない状態になるので、応答波ANSの受信の有無からRFIDタグ2周囲の状況変化をリアルタイムに検知することが可能となる。
