Abstract

The invention relates to a box which can be made from wood, plastic or pressboard, including side-forming boards (1) and a base-forming board (2). The edges of the side-forming boards (1) are provided with lugs (8) engageable with guides (9) provided for this purpose on triangular corner parts (4), while the edges of the base-forming board (2) are provided with elastic lugs (7) anchorable in grooves (6) provided on the side-forming boards (1), such that all of said parts can be assembled without using screws, staples or adhesives. In this way, the side-forming boards (1), the base-forming board (2) and the set of corner parts (4) remain anchored to one another so as to form the box which is topped with an upper cover (3) provided with grooves (11 and 12) connectible to projections (5) provided for this purpose on the upper edge of the side-forming boards (1). The base board (2) is raised in relation to the lower edge of the box, thereby enabling an upper projecting portion (13) of the corner parts (4) to serve as a supporting element for box-stacking purposes.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a palletizable box that, being able to be of quadrangular or rectangular configuration, of greater or lesser width, has the particularity of being constituted by rigid or semi-rigid elements, preferably wood, pressed cardboard or even plastic, conveniently assembled without the need of accessories or additional tools of any kind, being also stackable and even palletizable in a removable and manipulable pallet by means of a forklift or any other type of device.

The object of the invention is to facilitate the assembly of the elements that constitute the box, without adhesives or tools, so that the cost thereof is reduced. It is also the object of the invention to ensure that the box can be manipulated in a removable pallet and whose parts or pieces are easily attachable without the need for fasteners or tools.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently, wooden boxes, pressed cardboard and even plastic boxes are marketed for the transport and marketing of certain types of products, such as cheeses, hams, bottles, etc., where the parts and elements that constitute the boxes are joined together by nails, staples or similar elements, which is a series of problems and inconveniences when it comes to solidarity with these constituent elements of the box, as well as when assembling said parts or elements, since not only the relevant nails, staples or fixing materials are required, but also tools to carry carry out the application of said nails or staples.

On the other hand, when it comes to wooden boxes, the plates that make up the walls, bottom and cover are usually of little thickness, so that the weight is minimal, which together with the application of the staples or fixing nails, supposes that sometimes those wooden plates constituting the box open when fixing the nails or staples or that these are not properly fixed.

In addition, we must add the negative effects and inconveniences that arise from the fixing of nails and staples when carrying out the corresponding recycling.

On the other hand, it is sometimes necessary to handle a large number of boxes, which must be stacked together and even loaded on pallets, these being normally materialized in wood or injected in plastic or other appropriate materials, but with the common denominator that all pallets have a shape, size and volume that as a single piece element occupies a high volumetry that is difficult to manipulate when carrying out its storage, loading, unloading, transport, etc.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The recommended box presents a series of particularities that solve the problem regarding the way of fixing between the walls, bottom and lid thereof, so that being constituted preferably based on wooden plates to form the sides, bottom and cover, it does not require fasteners as it traditionally does, nor of course tools for assembly, since the plates that constitute the sides and the ends have at their ends with pins sides that are housed in guides established for this purpose in some corner pieces that also have cuffs formed in those housing guides, and that pin the pins in the guides, being perfectly immobilized the side plates that constitute the walls of the box in its assembly On the corner pieces.

The wedges established in the guides of the corner pieces, and even the side plate pins, will have a certain elasticity to allow the insertion and subsequent anchorage or engagement between parts, as well as to allow disassembly.

On the other hand, both the piece that constitutes the bottom and the piece or pieces that constitute the lid, have complementary grooves and projections that interlock each other so that, in combination with the fixing of the side plates to the corner pieces, it is perfectly assembled the box without the need for staples, screws or conventional fasteners.

The corner pieces have their upper end protruding upwards, while the bottom of the box is recessed with respect to the bottom edge thereof, so that the boxes can be stacked by positioning that protruding part of the corner pieces in the inner part of the box that originates from the tumbling upwards of the bottom.

The box may have a quadrangular configuration and serve to the accommodation and transport of, for example, a cheese, or even being a rectangular box and presenting a vertical partition movable to one of the slats, to allow separating other types of products and even to place, for example, a ham inside of the box whose hoof is positioned in a step established precisely in the abovementioned partition wall. In this variant embodiment, the box may have a fixed lid part and another folding lid part, in order to allow the introduction / removal of the product or ham without disassembling the fixed part and swinging only the folding part.

In this variant embodiment, the box may have several internal partitions, and even be affected by holes for the positioning of bottles, allowing the transport of these, having provided that one of the side walls has windows facing the holes to allow the introduction / removal of the bottles without the need to disassemble the box, but then providing an inner flap that once the bottles are located inside the box closes the windows and prevents these bottles from leaving the box.

In another variant embodiment, the box includes a single intermediate partition partition and two half-layers, covering the two compartments established by that partition partition, semi-stages that are tiltable and act as covers of a basket in which the partition wall, thanks to a window made on the upper edge of the same, in turn constitutes the corresponding handle of the basket that would form the box with such a partition and the two semitapas commented, so that both these and the partition itself will have complementary grooves and projections of other established both on the partition itself and on the sides and sides of the box, to achieve the fixing and closing of the box itself. The box, in any of its variants, can be sold completely disassembled, occupying a minimum volume, which facilitates its easy transport, storage and handling, being able to be easily mounted and without any problem at the time of being used, and even a Once its function of transporting the corresponding product or products has been fulfilled, it must be disassembled by the consumer so that it occupies the minimum storage volume and can be mounted if necessary to re-transport the product or products initially acquired.

In any of the variants, it is provided that the box is palletizable on a pallet formed by independent and attachable parts without the need for fixing elements, occupying a minimum volume when it is in an inoperative and disassembled situation, facilitating handling operations completely, transport and others, whose pallet has tabs that will hold the superimposed boxes avoiding their lateral displacements.

Said pallet, materialized by attachable and decoupling elements from each other and forming a separable body, can be stored occupying a minimum volume when the pallet is disassembled, being easily manipulable in loading, unloading and transport operations, all without assuming loss of efficiency. of the pallet and a minimum time of assembly and disassembly, since the pallet itself is constituted by the coupling between three stringers and three crossbars, whose coupling is made by simple fitting of some end parts of the stringers in corresponding complementary conformations established for this purpose in the parts that correspond to the support tacos of the crossbars themselves.

More specifically, said pallet has the peculiarity that the stringers are constituted by flat and rectangular elements that at their ends and in an intermediate area of them have pairs of wings perpendicular to the edge of the stringer from which they derive, and whose wings have their ends angled opposite to determine a means of engagement in respective wedges established for this purpose in grooved guides and formed in the extreme and intermediate parts of the crossbars, whose parts correspond to the support blocks of the pallet assembly.

In this way, it will be enough to place the three crossbars on the ground, supported by their end and intermediate studs, and place the stringers on them, embedding the wings provided therein in the aforementioned grooves in function of guides corresponding to the crossbars, making the coupling by crimping between the parts, stringers and crossbars being perfectly retained with each other, with the special feature that ^" the intermediate stringer is double, that is to say two stringers are arranged next to each other in corresponding guide grooves established for this purpose in the intermediate parts of the support tacos of the crossbars, these being able to form arches on either side of the intermediate zone to lighten the weight or be the prismatic body with hinged openings, or lack openings, although in any case the crossbar will have the grooves in function of guides coupling for stringers.

Optionally said pallet can be complemented with a top plate determining a flat and horizontal surface, affected by holes strategically arranged for the coupling of respective projections or appendages provided on the upper edge of the stringers.

Finally, to say that in the grooves of the guides established at the ends and intermediate part of the crossbars of the pallet, wedges are provided on either side of an intermediate partition, which allow the introduction of the wings corresponding to the stringers and the retention of the throttling that form the couplings of said wings at the lower ends of the wedges, in order to achieve an efficient and simple anchorage between the parts.

The box of the invention is constituted by coupling or assembling with each other four equal plates (1), which can be made of wood, plastic or even pressed cardboard, a bottom plaea (2) and a top closure lid (3) , in combination with four corner pieces (4) of triangular configuration. The box of figures 1 and 2 is of quadrangular contom and therefore the plates (1) will be the same and will constitute four side walls, counting its upper edge with a projection (5) and in proximity to its lower edge a groove (6 ), so that in this slot (6) of each side plate (1) a pin (7) provided on each of the bottom edges (2) is attached. Each pin (7) may have a flexible central part and two rigid side parts, while the grooves (6) may have an "omega" shape with a central part in which the flexible elastic part of the respective pin (7) is positioned. ), while the end parts of such a groove (6) will be positioned at the end parts of the pin (7), in order to establish an effective and solid fixing of the parts, thus being perfectly assembled the bottom and sides constituted by the plates (1) of the box.

The end parts of each of the side plates (1) have both upper and lower end pins (8) that are housed in respective guides (9) established for this purpose in the corner pieces (4), being secured by the stop that they establish corresponding cuffs (10) provided inside the guides (9), and these wedges (10) can be flexible so that when introducing the pins (8) they can exceed such wedges (10) and get stuck in the stop which determines the upper edge of such wedges (10), or that those pins (8) are flexible to exceed the wedges (11) and establish the anchorage by coupling between parts, being in any case perfectly secured the coupling or assembly between the corner pieces (4) and the constituent plates of the sides (1) of the box, which in combination with the bottom coupling (2) ensures total safety in the assembly between parts or pieces.

The box thus constituted, that is to say the one represented in figures 1 and 2, it is preferably and fundamentally provided for cheeses, closing with the lid (3) that has grooves (11 and 12), which can be equal to each other and even equal to the groove (6) discussed above, in which grooves (11 and 12) the projections (5) provided on the upper edge of the plates (1) constituting the sides of the box are housed, thus keeping said box perfectly closed.

The corner pieces (4) have a superior extension (13) that protrudes with respect to the upper edge of the disassembled box (1), while the bottom plate (2) is tucked in relation to the lower edge of said box, determining a recess at the base to achieve in the stacking that that projecting part (13) of the corner pieces (4) are positioned in the recess that determines the over-elevation of the bottom plate (2), achieving a perfect stack as shown in Figure 2, where the boxes are stable and in which the weight is supported by the corner pieces themselves (4) that are of rectangular prismatic configuration and highly resistant.

A variant embodiment of the box is shown in Figures 3 and 4, which in this case is of rectangular configuration and the plates (V) constituting the sides and pockets are provided with the pins (8), as well as the grooves (6), while the bottom (2 ') presents the elastic pins (7) for accommodation in the said grooves (6) and carrying out the coupling or assembly between said plates (V) and the bottom itself (2' ), also counting on the corner pieces (4), whose characteristics are exactly the same as those of the box corresponding to figure 1, that is to say they have the guides for accommodation of the pins (8), the cuffs for the retention, the protruding and upper part of those corner pieces (4), etc.

In the embodiment shown in Figures 3 and 4, provided a transverse partition capable of being formed by two parts (14), vertically superimposed on each other, as shown in Figure 3, whose parts (14) of the transverse partition have at their protruding ends (15) that are housed in grooves ( 16) established for this purpose in the main lateral plates (V) of the box, determining two equal or different compartments in the case of being a single partition, or more than two compartments in the case of being two or more transverse partitions, also counting with a projection (17) at its lower edge for accommodation in another groove (18) established at the bottom (2 ').

The other part (20) of such a cover (3 ') is fixed and has at its ends some projections (23) that are embedded in grooves (24) provided for this purpose in the plates (1') constituting the smaller side or side panels , and whose grooves (24) are in proximity to the holes (21) mentioned above, so that both parts (19 and 20) of the lid (3 ') close the upper part of the box, with part (20 ) fixed and the swinging part (19) as mentioned above. This fixed part (20) of the cover (3 ') also has grooves (6) in which the projections (5) provided for this purpose are embedded in the upper edge of the other constituent plate of the opposite major side. In this case, as in the previous embodiment, the box is completely removable and easily mountable, so that this second embodiment of the box shown in Figures 3 and 4, is intended to contain any type of article or product, although in the If the upper edge of the element or upper part (14) of the said transverse partition has an arched recess (25), it can be used as a support for the ham leg, and use the box for the unitary transport of hams. In this case, the box is perfectly armed as in all the previous cases, and with the ability to stack due to the special configuration of the corner pieces (4).

Obviously, the box can include a single floor as shown in figures 5 and 6, or even two floors as shown in figure 7, that is, two levels for as many sets of bottles.
