Abstract
Un soufflet, ayant au moins une surface interne constituée d'un polytétrafluoroéthylène à surface de miroir, est obtenu par un moulage par pression de fusion dans une forme de soufflet. En particulier, le soufflet est obtenu en insérant un noyau à l'intérieur d'une préforme cylindrique ou en forme de gobelet en polytétrafluoroéthylène, ou d'un soufflet de polytétrafluoroéthylène moulé par soufflage ou travaillé par découpe ; en réalisant une liaison par pression de fusion en utilisant, par exemple, un moule en métal spécial ; et en étirant le noyau, puis éventuellement, en effectuant une soudure. Le moule en métal spécial est composé de multiples matrices de pièces extérieures mobiles et du même nombre de matrices de pièces extérieures de retrait. Les matrices de pièces extérieures mobiles et les matrices de pièces extérieures de retrait sont disposées en alternance, et tout en glissant, elles rétrécissent le cercle ainsi réalisé, pour obtenir ainsi une liaison de moulage par pression de fusion. Ensuite, les matrices de pièces extérieures mobiles et les matrices de pièces extérieures de retrait sont détachées pour ainsi étendre le moulage. Simultanément, une force mécanique est appliquée afin d'étendre ainsi une portion de bride. Le noyau est prélevé, et le prélèvement est éventuellement suivi d'un soudage. Un soufflet peut ainsi être obtenu.
