Abstract
The present invention relates to a communication apparatus (2, 2') for a surgical system (1), with a user interface (101) (3) designed for the display and/or input of information that is representative of operating parameters of at least one microsurgical instrument (4a, 5a), with at least one operating element (116) (8) configured separately from the user interface (101) (3), with a first communication device (6) for data exchange between the user interface (3), the operating element (116) (8) and a video recording unit (7), and with the video recording unit (7) being provided for the recording of image information that can be detected by at least one optical detector unit (9), wherein the recording can be controlled as a function of an actuation of the user interface (101) and/or an actuation of the operating element (116) (8) and/or of specific operating states of at least one component of the surgical system (1). The invention also relates to a surgical system (1) and to a method for recording image information in a surgical intervention.
