Abstract
Description
Solarmodul-Montagesystem Solar module mounting system
The invention relates to a solar module mounting system, in particular for frameless solar modules.
Photovoltaic systems are becoming more and more interesting for private persons in the course of the climate discussion. The greater the effort of the manufacturers to offer the modules as cost effective as possible in order to achieve a large market share. For this reason, frameless solar modules are increasingly being offered which, in addition to the support on which the individual solar cells are mounted, and a cover glass have no further components or mounting options. As a result, the modules are also unprotected and require special care in handling, so that the modules are not damaged by unintentional tapping.
Such frameless solar modules are fastened for example by multi-part retaining clips on suitable carriers. The bottom of the module is placed on a support with an edge that is padded with a rubber. From above, a rubber-padded retaining clip is also placed and secured by a screw. Due to the contact pressure of the retaining clip on the edge of the solar module arise in the cover glass of the solar module voltages that often lead to fractures or cracks, especially during assembly by laymen.
A rooftop mounting system advertised on the website by the company Solarwatt AG from Dresden and known as ADSIII avoids the problem of voltage due to the onset of the Upper and lower edges of the modules in continuous H-profile rails. Here, a rubber profile is inserted in the lower rail over the entire length. Precisely cut deeper rubber profiles are placed on the top edge of the solar module. The solar modules are thus only held by the rubber profiles, m the H-profile rails.
Even with this system, the solar module remains largely unprotected during assembly, making the handling of the solar modules requires great care. Additional work is required by cutting the upper rubber profile, making sure that it has the correct tread depth.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a mounting system for frameless solar modules, in which the solar modules have an effective edge protection, and thus is also easy and safe for laymen applicable.
This object is achieved by a solar module mounting system, in particular for frameless solar modules, in which two opposite edges of the solar modules are used in H-profile rails, that at least one edge protection element on the edges of the solar module to be inserted into the H-profile rails is attached.
The edge protection elements, which are either already placed on the solar module at the manufacturer or directly after removal from the packaging, make handling the solar module much easier, as it is not necessary to pay sufficient attention to ensuring that the module does not catch fire. The assembly is also simplified by the early attachment of the edge protection elements, since the modules can be used without further preparatory work in the H-profile rails. Thus, even the layman is a simple and secure Possibility of solar module assembly available.
The edge protection elements are preferably designed as standard elements with a unit size, so that the same elements can be used for all edges of the module. Depending on the module size, it may therefore be expedient to provide more than one edge protection element at one edge.
The edge protection elements are preferably made of a weather-resistant rubber, such as EPDM, so that shocks are damped and the edge protection elements have at least during the life of the module no wear.
The edge protection elements expediently have a substantially U-shaped cross section, so that they can be easily attached to the edges of the module. The edge protection element may additionally be reinforced by a mold insert which, like a spring clip, provides a better grip on the edge of the module. The mold insert may for example consist of a steel mesh, a sheet or a plastic and be vulcanized into the rubber or be prepared by a two-component injection molding process.
Furthermore, it may be expedient to provide the inner sides of the U-legs of the edge protection element with inwardly directed slats. This simplifies assembly and makes it even more difficult to remove. It is also possible to provide the outer sides of the edge protection elements with a sliding coating, so that the modules can be easily introduced with the edge protection elements in the H-profile rails.
To increase the contact surface of the solar module, the the module underside facing U-legs may be formed longer than the module top side facing U-legs.
Furthermore, it is expedient to provide the upper U-legs with a sealing lip to prevent water that flows along the module, penetrates into the edge protection, there accumulates and penetrates into the solar module. In order to efficiently dissipate the water which runs off adjacent to the edge protection elements, a water drainage channel can be integrated in the H-profile rail, which ensures that the solar module edge is not in the water at any point.
Since the solar modules are held in the H-profile rails only by the static friction of the edge protection elements, it can come by temperature fluctuations and wind to movements of the individual modules. Therefore, it may be advantageous to attach edge protection elements as spacers to adjacent modules and to the edge stop also on the lateral edges of the modules. This easily prevents modules from being damaged by touching or rubbing against each other.
In order to make the handling of the solar modules particularly easy for the end user, the edge protection elements can already be attached by the manufacturer at the factory.
Through the use of standardized edge protection elements that are simply plugged into the solar module, the mounting system according to the invention is particularly safe and easy to use for laymen. Apart from the plugging on the module, there is no further effort, in particular the rubber profile does not have to be cut to size and care must not be taken that the correct profile is used. Furthermore, the risk of cracking due to stresses in the cover glass of the module is eliminated. A preferred embodiment of the solar module mounting system is explained in more detail with reference to the drawings.

Beim Aufschieben auf das Solarmodul 9 wird durch die Federkraft im Stahlgeflecht 7 die Haltekraft zusätzlich verstärkt.1 shows an edge protection element 1, which has a substantially U-shaped cross-section, wherein the upper U-leg 2 is shorter than the lower U-leg 3. Both legs carry a different fin profile 4, 5 with inwardly directed fins, whereby the edge protection element is simply pushed onto the solar module, but difficult to remove. At the upper U-leg 2, a sealing lip 6 is further arranged, which impedes the penetration of liquid in the region of the edge protection element. The edge protection element 1 is reinforced by a steel braid 7 and biased such that the two U-legs are inclined inwards. When pushed onto the solar module 9, the holding force is additionally reinforced by the spring force in the steel mesh 7.

Figure 2 shows a solar module 9, each with two patch edge protection elements 1 at opposite edges 16 for insertion in H-profile rails 8. The additional edge protection element 1a can optionally be attached to a free edge 17 as a spacer to an adjacent solar module. A part of an entire solar module arrangement is shown in Fig. 3 in cross section. The H-profile rails 8 can be mounted on a roof or outdoor frame and are fastened, for example, by retaining clips which engage in the lugs 10 of the H-profile rail 8. The H-profile rail 8 has a lower 12 and an upper profile 13 for receiving the solar modules, wherein the lower profile 12 is longer than the upper profile 13. The upper profile 13 is followed by a water drainage channel 11, through which water can flow, so that stagnant water, which can penetrate into the module interior via the module edge, is prevented.
For mounting the solar modules 9, only the edge protection elements 1 are placed on the edges 16 of the solar module 9 to be inserted into the profiles 12, 13, for example according to the arrangement in FIG. 2. The populated solar module 14, as shown, slopes slightly into the upper profile 12 inserted until the lower edge protection elements 1b rest on the profile projection 15. Then the module 14 is pushed into the lower profile 13. In this case, the upper edge protection element 1c remains firmly on the solar module. 9
