Abstract

 本発明は、液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)等の表示装置の画面の視認性低下を抑えるための防眩性フィルムについて、微粒子を用いることなく、防眩性フィルムを簡便に作製でき、また、非相溶性材料の除去工程等も必要でなく、優れた光学特性が得られる防眩性フィルム、その製造方法、防眩性フィルムを用いた偏光板、及び表示装置を提供を提供する。この防眩性フィルムの製造方法は、防眩層用塗布液が少なくとも第1及び第2の硬化性樹脂原料を含み、これら第1及び第2の硬化性樹脂原料は、溶媒中に溶解した溶液状態では、透明フィルム基材の表面上に平滑に塗布することができ、防眩層用塗布液の塗布後、硬化手段によってこれらの硬化性樹脂原料を硬化反応させることにより、透明フィルム基材の表面上に、硬化樹脂によって防眩性を示す凹凸形状が付与された防眩層を形成するものである。
