Abstract

A disc brake device is adapted so that one end of a brake arm is rocked and pressed through a cam mechanism to press a brake pad, which is placed on the other end, to a disc rotor. The brake arm has freedom of movement in all directions and can swing and rock, and the cam mechanism is pivotally moved by an actuator. A circular tube ring is rotatably placed between a housing and a side surface of the brake arm, which side surface is located near the one end of the brake arm and perpendicular to the direction of rock of the brake arm.
