Abstract

Disclosed is a cycloolefin polymer composite characterized by containing a cycloolefin polymer and a glass fiber reinforcing material containing not less than 55% by weight of SiO2. This composite is preferably produced by bulk-polymerizing a polymerizable composition, which contains a cycloolefin monomer and a polymerization catalyst, in the presence of a glass fiber reinforcing material containing not less than 55% by weight of SiO2.
