Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Faserverbundwerkstoff mit metallischer Matrix und ein Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung. Ein aus einzelnen Fasern (1) bestehendes Fasermaterial ist in eine metallische Matrix eingebettet, welche durch eine die Faser (1) umgebende Metallisierungsschicht (2) und eine ihrerseits auf diese aufgebrachte metallische Endschicht (4) gebildet ist. Zusätzlich kann zwischen der Metallisierungsschicht (2) und der metallischen Endschicht (4) eine metallische Haftschicht (3) vorgesehen sein. Die metallische Endschicht (4) kann durch einen oder mehrere Aufträge gebildet und mit beliebigen mechanischen Bearbeitungsmethoden bearbeitet werden.
