Abstract

An excrement collecting device for a pet dog is put on the trunk and rump of the pet dog so as to directly collect excrement from the pet dog. Thereby, the excrement collecting device is easily worn on the trunk and buttocks of the pet dog and enables the pet dog to act without inhibition. Further, the excrement collecting device enables easy collection of the excrement excreted by the pet dog and easy disposal of the collected excrement.

Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to an excrement collecting device for a pet dog, which is put on the trunk and rump of the pet dog so as to directly collect excrement from the pet dog.
Background Art [2] Recently, the desire to keep animals as household pets has greatly increased.
Among these pets, pet dogs have won very great interest and love from people. [3] As the amount of time that such pet dogs spend outdoors increases, excrement disposal in parks or in public facilities becomes a serious problem. In other words, the excrement excreted from the pet dogs during outdoor activity serves as a major factor damaging urban and park landscapes. [4] Thus, federal and local governments spend a lot of manpower and money each year in order to dispose of excrement excreted from pet dogs in urban areas and in parks.
For this reason, legal measures are being drafted or are in force in many countries in the world, including Korea.
Disclosure of Invention
Technical Problem [5] Accordingly, the present invention has been made in an effort to solve the problems occurring in the related art, and an object of the present invention is to provide an excrement collecting device for a pet dog, capable of being easily worn on the trunk and buttocks of the pet dog and enabling the pet dog to act without interruption. [6] Another object of the present invention is to provide an excrement collecting device for a pet dog, enabling easy collection of the excrement excreted by the pet dog and easy disposal of the collected excrement.
Advantageous Effects
[7] According to the excrement collecting device for a pet dog according to an embodiment of the present invention, it can be easily put on the trunk and buttocks of the pet dog and permits uninhibited activity, so that it can be worn without rejection by the pet dog.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [23] According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an excrement collecting device for a pet dog, which is put on the trunk and rump of the pet dog so as to directly collect excrement from the pet dog. The excrement collecting device includes: a wearing member, which is put on the trunk and rump of the pet dog; a fixing member, which is coupled with the wearing member so as to be in close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog, and which is provided with a slot along an inner circumference thereof so as to be fitted therein from the upside to the downside thereof; and a collecting member, which is provided with a frame fitted into the slot to fix the open end of a cylindrical corrugated bag, which expands elastically to collect the excrement.

[26] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 15, the excrement collecting device for a pet dog according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention generally includes a wearing member 100, which is put on the trunk and rump of the pet dog, a fixing member 200, which is coupled with the wearing member so as to be in close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog, and a collecting member 300, which is telescopically coupled with the fixing member so as to collect excrement from the pet dog.
[27] As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 15, the wearing member 100 is put on in close contact with the trunk and rump of the pet dog. Particularly, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the wearing member 100 is cut out in a garment shape using stretchy cloth so as to enable easy activity and provide an integrated feeling in the state in which it is closely worn on the trunk and rump of the pet dog. [28] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 or FIGS. 9 through 14, the fixing member 200 is provided with a slot 210 along the inner circumference thereof so that it is not only in close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog through the coupling of the wearing member 100 but is also fitted therein from the upside toward the downside thereof. In other words, the fixing member 200 has the slot 210 formed along the inner circumference thereof having an upwardly opened "U" shape so that a frame 320 of the collecting member 300, which will be described below, can be fit thereinto.
[29] As illustrated in FIGS. 9 and 10, the fixing member 200 is provided with cover pieces 220, which protrude to surround the blind end of the cylindrical corrugated bag 310, which is contracted. Here, the cover pieces 220 are formed of a soft material so as to support the blind end of the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag 310 to prevent the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag 310 from being expanded, and then allow the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag 310 to be expanded by excrement from the pet dog. Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIG. 10, the fixing member 200 is provided with a plurality of slits 222, which are radially formed between the cover pieces 220 along the inner circumference of the fixing member, so that the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag 310 can be more smoothly expanded.
[30] As illustrated in FIGS. 11 through 14, the fixing member 200 is provided with at least one lid 230, which is rotatably opened and closed when the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag 310 is expanded by the excrement while the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag 310 is supported. At this time, the lid 230 is coupled with a torsion spring 232 through a rotational shaft thereof so as to maintain a closed state due to the elastic force of the torsion spring 232 at all times.
[31] The lids 230 of FIG. 11 are designed to be rotatably coupled to opposite sides of the fixing member 200 in the state in which they are partitioned in the opposite directions. The lids 230 of FIG. 12 are designed to have projections and slots so that they intersect each other at the free ends of the partitioned lids 230 of FIG. 11. The lid 230 of FIG. 13 is designed to be rotatably coupled at a lower side of the fixing member 200. The lid 230 of FIG. 14 is rotatably coupled to upper ends of the fixing member 200.
[32] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIGS. 10 through 15, the fixing member 200 is provided with fastening means 200a, such as a connecting ring, a hook, or a button, along the outer circumference thereof, so that it is fixedly coupled to the wearing member 100. The wearing member 100 is also provided with fastening means corresponding to the fastening means 200a of the fixing member 200, so that it can be coupled with the fixing member 200. [33] In addition, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the fixing member 200 is provided with fixing recesses 212, which are cut out from the opposite upper ends of the slot 210 to allow the inside and outside thereof to communicate with each other, so that fixed jaws 326 of the frame 320, which will be described below, can be fitted into the fixing recesses 212.
[34] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 11, the collecting member 300 is provided with the frame 320, which is fitted into the slot 210 to fix the open end of the cylindrical corrugated bag 310, which is telescopically expanded to collect the excrement. Here, the cylindrical corrugated bag 310 is made of unwoven fabric, synthetic resin, etc., and has an identifier such as a logo, attached to the blind end thereof, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2.
[35] Further, the cylindrical corrugated bag 310 of FIG. 3 is designed to be expanded or contracted in one direction. The cylindrical corrugated bag 310 of FIGS. 4 and 5 is designed to be partitioned into a first expansion section 310a at the open end thereof and a second expansion section 310b at the blind end thereof, so that it is expanded or contracted in opposite directions. The cylindrical corrugated bag 310 of FIG. 6 is designed to be partitioned into a first expansion section 310a at the open end thereof and a second expansion section 310b at the blind end thereof, such that the second expansion section 310b has a diameter smaller than that of the first expansion section 310a, and thus is received into the first expansion section 310a when contracted. At this time, the cylindrical corrugated bag 310 is subjected to different types of heat treatment such that the first expansion section 310a thereof has a strong recovery force, and the second expansion section 310b thereof is easily expanded.
[36] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the collecting member 300 has a frame
320 formed in the shape of a ring. As described above, the ring-like frame 320 has fixed jaws 326 protruding from the opposite sides thereof in the diametrical direction so as to be fitted into the fixing recesses 212 of the fixing member 200, whereas each fixed jaw 326 is provided with a grip 328, which is exposed to the outside, at a free end thereof. In other words, the grips 328 are adapted to allow the collecting member 300, fitted into the fixing member 200, to be easily separated from the fixing member 200.
[37] Further, as illustrated in FIGS. 7 and 8, the collecting member 300 is provided with a folded line 322 in the middle of the frame 320 so as to be folded in two, and cutout pieces 324 at opposite upper sides thereof so as to fit and fix a lower edge of the folded frame 320. Thus, after the excrement from the pet dog is collected, the frame 320 is folded and fitted into itself using the cutout pieces 324, so that the collecting member 300 can be disposed of in a sealed state.
[38] According to another embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an excrement collecting device for a pet dog, which is put on the trunk and rump of the pet dog so as to directly collect excrement from the pet dog, the excrement collecting device including: a wearing member, which is put on the trunk of the pet dog and is provided with a coupling at the upper rear end thereof so as to be expanded or contracted with movement of the pet dog through action of an elastic spring; a fixing member, which includes an upper plate coupled with the coupling and located at the rump of the pet dog, a lower plate coupled with the upper plate and covering the buttocks of the pet dog, and at least one support plate coupled to the upper plate and positioned at an upper side of the lower plate, and keeping the lower plate in close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog when the pet dog crouches to perform excretion; and a collecting member that allows opposite surfaces of the quadrilateral corrugated bag, at an upper side of which an opening is formed, to be fixed to the lower plate and the support plate, respectively, so as to be elastically expanded to collect the excrement.
[39] Hereinafter, another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached figures.
[40] FIG. 16 is a perspective view illustrating an excrement collecting device for a pet dog according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIGS. 17 and 18 are perspective views illustrating a corrugated bag applied to an excrement collecting device for a pet dog according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIGS. 19 and 20 are views illustrating how to use an excrement collecting device for a pet dog according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 21 is an assembled view illustrating an excrement collecting device for a pet dog according to yet another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 22 is a disassembled view illustrating an excrement collecting device for a pet dog according to yet another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 23 is a development view illustrating a collecting member applied to an excrement collecting device for a pet dog according to yet another embodiment of the present invention.
[41] As illustrated in FIGS. 16 through 23, the excrement collecting device for a pet dog according to another embodiment of the present invention generally includes a wearing member 100 that is put on the trunk and rump of the pet dog, a fixing member 200 that is coupled with the wearing member so as to be in close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog, and a collecting member 300 that is telescopically coupled with the fixing member so as to collect excrement from the pet dog.
[42] As illustrated in FIGS. 16, 19, 20 and 21, the wearing member 100 is formed to be put on the trunk of the pet dog, and is provided with a coupling 150 at an upper rear end thereof so that it is expanded or contracted with the movement of the pet dog through the action of an elastic spring 152. Here, the elastic spring 152 has the shape of a flat spiral spring, as illustrated in FIG. 20, or a coil spring, as illustrated in FIG. 21. In this manner, in order to apply the elastic spring 152, a housing for supporting and covering the expanded or contracted elastic spring 152 can be configured as illustrated in the figures.
[43] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIGS. 19 and 20, the wearing member 100 is provided with an auxiliary coupling 160 at lateral rear ends thereof so as to bring the fixing member 200 into close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog.
[44] As illustrated in FIGS. 16, 19, 20, 21 and 22, the fixing member 200 is provided with an upper plate 240 that is coupled with the coupling 150 and is located at the rump of the pet dog, a lower plate 250 that is coupled with the upper plate 140 and covers the buttocks of the pet dog, and support plates 260 that are coupled to the upper plate 240 and are positioned on an upper side of the lower plate. In this manner, the fixing member 200 is adapted to allow the lower plate 250 to be kept in close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog when the pet dog crouches to perform excretion. At this time, the lower plate 250 is provided with receptacles 252 for hooking the quadrilateral corrugated bag 330 of the collecting member 300.
[45] As illustrated in FIGS. 16, 19 and 20, the fixing member 200 is provided with corrugations 270 so as to be easily bent at the boundary between the upper and lower plates 240 and 250, and connecting bands 280 at opposite sides of the lower plate 250 so as to connect the lower plate 250 to the lower rear ends of the wearing member 100. Here, the connecting bands 280 are formed so that the lower plate 250 is always kept in close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog by means of elastic expansion or contraction when coupled with the auxiliary couplings 160 of the wearing member 100. Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIG. 16, the support plates 260 are formed to protrude from respective opposite sides of the upper plate 240. Further, the receptacles 252 of the lower plate 250 are formed so as to allow the collecting member 300 to be pushed and fitted from the upside toward the downside.
[46] As illustrated in FIGS. 21 and 22, the fixing member 200 couples the upper plate
240 and the lower plate 250 through rotational shafts 290. Here, each rotational shaft 290 is coupled therein with a torsion spring, which acts to bring the lower plate 250 into close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog. Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIGS. 21 and 22, the support plate 260 is provided with hooked straps 262 at upper sides thereof, so that the hooked straps 262 are hooked into hooking slits 242 cut out from the upper plate 240.
[47] Further, as illustrated in FIGS. 21 and 23, the support plate 260 is provided with a folding groove 264 in the middle thereof, the folding groove 264 extending in a transverse direction so as to allow the lower side of the support plate 260 to be folded at a predetermined angle. Furthermore, the support plate 260 is provided with elastic bands 266 at opposite sides thereof, the elastic bands 266 functioning to cause the lower side of the support plate 260 to be folded at the folded recess 264 and simultaneously support the lower end of the quadrilateral corrugated bag 330. Further, the receptacles 252 of the lower plate 250 are formed to hook the opposite sides of the upper end of the quadrilateral corrugated bag 330.
[48] As illustrated in FIGS. 17, 18 and 23, the collecting member 300 is adapted to be elastically expanded to collect the excrement. To this end, opposite surfaces of the quadrilateral corrugated bag 330, on the upper side of which an opening is formed, are fixed to the lower plate 250 and the support plate 260, respectively.
[49] At this time, the quadrilateral corrugated bag 330 is provided with an elastic band
332 at the opening thereof such that the opening thereof is closed by the elastic force of the elastic band 332. As illustrated in FIG. 23, the quadrilateral corrugated bag 330 is cut out in an arcuate shape at the opening adjacent to the anus of the pet dog so as to smoothly collect the discharged excrement, and then is provided with the elastic band 332 along an edge of the opening cut out in the arcuate shape.
[50] As illustrated in FIGS. 17 and 18, the quadrilateral corrugated bag 330 is provided with hooking protrusions 334 corresponding to the receptacles 252 formed at one side of the lower plate 250, and fitting holes 336 formed outside so as to allow the ends of the support plates 260 to be fitted thereinto. At this time, the quadrilateral corrugated bag 330 includes a base panel made of relatively thick paper, and a body made of a relatively thin paper panel, wherein the body is open at an upper portion thereof, and is fixed to the base panel to define a collecting space.
[51] As illustrated in FIG. 23, the quadrilateral corrugated bag 330 is adapted to further enhance support force using a cover face 338 formed at an inner side thereof so as to receive and support the lower plate 250.

Claims

Claims
[1] An excrement collecting device for a pet dog, which is put on a trunk and rump of the pet dog so as to directly collect excrement from the pet dog, the excrement collecting device comprising: a wearing member that is put on the trunk and rump of the pet dog; a fixing member that is coupled with the wearing member so as to be in close contact with buttocks of the pet dog, and that is provided with a slot along an inner circumference thereof so as to be fitted therein from an upside to a downside thereof; and a collecting member that is provided with a frame fitted into the slot to fix an open end of a cylindrical corrugated bag expanded elastically to collect the excrement.
[2] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 1, wherein the cylindrical corrugated bag is folded so as to be expanded or contracted in one direction.
[3] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 2, wherein the cylindrical corrugated bag is partitioned into a first expansion section at an open end thereof and a second expansion section at a blind end thereof such that the first and second expansion sections are folded in opposite directions.
[4] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 1, wherein the cylindrical corrugated bag is partitioned into a first expansion section at an open end thereof and a second expansion section at a blind end thereof such that the second expansion section has a diameter smaller than that of the first expansion section and is received into the first expansion section when folded.
[5] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 3 or 4, wherein the cylindrical corrugated bag is subjected to different types of heat treatment such that recovery force of the first expansion section thereof is reinforced, and the second expansion section thereof is easily expanded.
[6] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 1, wherein the collecting member includes a folded line in the middle of the frame thereof, so as to be folded in two, and cutout pieces at opposite upper sides thereof so as to fit and fix a lower edge of the folded frame.
[7] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 1, wherein the fixing member includes cover pieces protruding to surround a blind end of the cylindrical corrugated bag, which is contracted.
[8] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 7, wherein the cover pieces are formed of a soft material so as to support the blind end of the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag to prevent the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag from being expanded, and then allow the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag to be expanded by excrement from the pet dog, and the fixing member includes a plurality of slits, which are radially formed between the cover pieces along the inner circumference thereof.
[9] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 1, wherein the fixing member is provided with at least one lid, which is rotatably opened and closed when the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag is expanded by the excrement, and supports the contracted cylindrical corrugated bag.
[10] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 9, wherein the lid is coupled with a torsion spring through a rotational shaft thereof so as to maintain a closed state.
[11] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 1, wherein the fixing member includes fastening means that are formed along an outer circumference thereof and are coupled and fixed to the wearing member.
[12] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 1, wherein the fixing member includes fixing recesses that are cut out at the opposite upper ends of the slot so as to allow an inside and outside thereof to communicate with each other, and fixed jaws that protrude from the opposite sides thereof in the diametrical direction so as to be fitted into the fixing recesses thereof, each fixed jaw being provided with a grip exposed to the outside thereof at a free end thereof.
[13] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 1, wherein the wearing member is cut out in a shape of a garment having feces/urine discharge openings and leg insertion openings so as to provide easy activity and an integrated feeling in a state in which it is closely put on and fastened around the trunk and rump of the pet dog.
[14] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 13, wherein the wearing member includes at least one buckle and strap for adjusting a fit thereof.
[15] An excrement collecting device for a pet dog, which is put on a trunk and rump of the pet dog so as to directly collect excrement from the pet dog, the excrement collecting device comprising: a wearing member, which is put on the trunk of the pet dog and is provided with a coupling at an upper rear end thereof so as to be expanded or contracted with movement of the pet dog through action of an elastic spring; a fixing member, which includes an upper plate coupled with the coupling and located at the rump of the pet dog, a lower plate coupled with the upper plate and covering the buttocks of the pet dog, and at least one support plate coupled to the upper plate and positioned at an upper side of the lower plate, and which allows the lower plate to be kept to be in close contact with buttocks of the pet dog when the pet dog crouches to perform excretion; and a collecting member, which allows opposite surfaces of the quadrilateral corrugated bag, at an upper side of which an opening is formed, to be fixed to the lower plate and the support plate, respectively, so as to be elastically expanded to collect the excrement.
[16] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 15, wherein the lower plate includes receptacles for hooking the quadrilateral corrugated bag of the collecting member.
[17] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 15 or 16, wherein the quadrilateral corrugated bag includes an elastic band at the opening thereof such that the opening thereof is closed by elastic force of the elastic band.
[18] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 17, wherein the quadrilateral corrugated bag includes hooking protrusions corresponding to the receptacles formed at one side of the lower plate, and fitting holes formed outside so as to allow ends of the support plates to be fitted thereinto.
[19] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 17, wherein the quadrilateral corrugated bag includes a cover face at an inner side thereof so as to receive and support the lower plate.
[20] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 15, wherein the fixing member is provided with corrugations so as to be easily bent at the boundary between the upper and lower plates thereof, and connecting bands at opposite sides of the lower plate so as to connect the lower plate to the lower rear ends of the wearing member, and the wearing member includes auxiliary couplings formed at lateral rear ends thereof, in which the auxiliary couplings are connected with the connecting bands so as to allow the lower plate to be kept in close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog by elastic springs installed therein.
[21] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 15, wherein the upper and lower plates of the fixing member are coupled to each other by rotational shafts, each of which is coupled therein with a torsion spring acting to bring the lower plate into close contact with the buttocks of the pet dog.
[22] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 21, wherein the upper plate includes hooking slits for hooking the support plate, and the support plate includes hooked straps at opposite upper sides thereof such that the hooked straps are hooked into the hooking slits.
[23] The excrement collecting device as set forth in claim 22, wherein the support plate includes a folding groove in the middle thereof, the folding groove extending in a transverse direction so as to allow a lower side of the support plate to be folded at a predetermined angle, and elastic bands at opposite sides thereof, the elastic bands functioning to cause the lower side of the support plate to be folded at the folded recess and simultaneously support a lower end of the quadrilateral corrugated bag.
