- Such dimensions of stick favor use and manual application of butter on a toasted bread, and it is common in the USA - the country with the largest consumption of butter per capita.
- Fast, elegant and even spreading conducted in such way can spark the use of different supplements to the butter, such as salt, paper, and other spices.

Abstract
Butter package (10) envisaged with this invention consists of segmented wrap. With gradual removal of segments (12) they reveal the butter stick (18) and enable the spreading of butter onto bread (16) in a unique and new way.
Description
BUTTER PACKAGE AND METHOD OF SPREADING BUTTER ON BREAD
TECHNICAL FIELD
This invention pertains to the field of food packaging in general and is related to the new method of butter packaging and spreading of butter on bread.
According to International Classification of Patents (ICP) the patent is marked as:
TECHNICAL PROBLEM
The invention solves the problem of spreading the butter and separating the butter form the package wrap, which does not require cutlery and other devices and avoids the need to wait for the butter to soften after taking it from the refrigerator.
BACKGROUND ART
Butter package makes possible butter packaging and storing of butter in refrigerators.
Butter package, made from paper or foil, can be wrapped around the butter or margarine (German Patent DE 10114603). Similar package, with folding removable edges, is also very well known (Swiss Patent CH 69573). However, in order to spread butter on bread it is necessary to slice it with a knife or similar cutlery or utensils. Finally, there exists a package which is composed of cutting knife and a butter wrap (U.S. Patent US 4513501).
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
Butter package envisaged with this invention is composed of a segmented wrap.
With gradual removal of segments of wrap the butter stick is revealed so that it can be spread in a unique - new way. This invention enables the spreading of butter immediately after taking it from the refrigerator and does not require the butter to be soften at room temperature, nor at the surface of a warmed toast. It can also be applied to melba toast without waiting.
The advantages of this invention are, in general, the fact that spreading of butter on bread or other surface is easy and simple, without the use of knife or other piece of cutlery or utensils.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
Figures:
1) Figure 1 - shows the butter stick in package, at which the "flaps" used for the separation of segments, as well as the segments marked with dotted lines are seen;
2) Figure 2 - drawing which shows separation - tearing along the perforations of the first segment;
3) Figure 3 - drawing of spreading on the surface of toasted bread;
4) Figure 4 - drawing of an open grid of the package proportion 1:1.
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT OF INVENTION
The package (10) described in Figure 1, is segmented into lateral straps (12) which detach - tear along the predetermined, perforated line (14). Lateral segments are laid lcm apart and there is a total of 12 of them (see Figure 4). After detaching the first segment we use the package as a deodorant stick or as crayon and spread butter on the surface of toasted bread with circular strokes (16) (see Figure 3). The surface of toasted bread (16) acts as a sand paper and removes the layer of butter (18) depending on the asperity of the cut bread. The layer of butter (18) spread in such way is even and the simplicity of application is evident from the very first attempt. As the butter is being used we remove segment by segment of wrap (10) revealing new layer of butter (18) (see Figure 2).
The package (10) can be marked by the weight of individual segments as well, which makes it easy for consumers to measure the quantity when cooking or consuming.
The package (10) is envisaged for butter stick of specific dimensions 3 x 3 x 12 cm (approximately lOOgr), as described in Figure 4. Such dimensions of stick favor use and manual application of butter on a toasted bread, and it is common in the USA - the country with the largest consumption of butter per capita. Fast, elegant and even spreading conducted in such way can spark the use of different supplements to the butter, such as salt, paper, and other spices.
Claims
1. Package (10) for packaging butter, CHARACTERIZED BY consisting of a wrap (10), which is segmented into lateral segments (12), which detach and tear along predetermined perforated line (14).
2. Package (10) according to the claim L, CHARACTERIZED BY making possible to the user to manually apply butter to toast or melba toast with circular strokes and to, by tearing lateral straps (12), control the consumption of butter.
