Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for handling a powdery product. The device is composed of a reusable crucible (5) for charging the powdery product (4) into a unit for the production of hot liquid under pressure, the liquid passing out of the unit through an outflow pipe. During filling of the crucible (5), the crucible (5) is attached to a clamp (9) which, when connected to the crucible (5), forms a spoon (1). The resulting spoon (1) is designed to be filled by hand by plunging the crucible (5) into the powdery product (4) stored in a container (10). The spoon (1) is mechanically independent of the outflow pipe of the unit. The connection between the clamp (9) and the crucible (5) lies approximately in the plane containing the perimeter of the opening (13) of the crucible (5). The exterior of the bowl (5) of the spoon (1), beneath the plane containing the perimeter of the opening (13) of the crucible (5) has no reliefs or depressions that could trap the powdery product (4) when the crucible (5) is plunged into it. The interior of the bottom of the spoon (1) includes a zone for the passage of the hot liquid under pressure.
