Description
[DESCRIPTION] [invention Title]
DISPOSABLE PUFF FOR DRUG OR COSMETICS [Technical Field] The present invention relates to a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics (hereinafter, also referred to as "drug puff") , and more particularly, to a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics, which comprises a pair of upper and lower pieces coupled with each other, an easily-tearable drug bag disposed therein, and a tab securely disposed on the outer surface thereof. [Background Art]
During the use of the drug puff, the bag having drug or cosmetics received therein in the form of liquid formulation or ointment is torn by means of a given pressure applied to the puff, and hence the drug or cosmetics received in the bag is penetrated into the lower piece. Subsequently, the drug puff is directly contactibly applied to a wound site or desired make-up site of a user so as to treat the wound site and put on the make-up, thereby obtaining scientific and sanitary qualities in its structure, allowing for its convenient use, and enhancing work effect at the time of treating the wound site or putting on the make-up.
Generally, there have been proposed various kinds of drugs for treating the wound site of the human body and cosmetics for make-up.
For instance, in case of cosmetics, cosmetic products have been largely occupied which comes into direct contact with a user's skin, while in case of the drug, there are various types of drug products such as a drug for internal
use which is taken via the oral cavity of the human body and a drug of liquid formulation or ointment type which is applied by a user's hand.
Typically, a lotion, drug, perfume, or cosmetics product of liquid formulation or ointment type has been distributed on the market in a state where it is received in a container such as glass bottle or PP, PET bottle.
A user uses the drug, perfume or cosmetics products received in the container such as glass bottle and the like according to his or her desired purpose, after opening the packaging of such products which had been purchased. At this time, the drug, perfume or cosmetics is applied to the wound site or the desired make-up site of the user by using separate tools such as tweezers, cotton swab, sponge, gauze and the like other than the case where it is applied thereto with a user's own hand.
However, the treatment or make-up work using such separate tools has a considerably troublesome process, as well as the product cannot be used in an accurate amount of its contents since the contents of the product is unintentionally applied while exceeding or falling short of the content of the contents suitable for a use of the product in the process of handling contents of the product.
Further, when the product received in the container is used, a user' s hand may come into contact with the container, so that the container can be polluted due to the unnecessary contact with the human body, thereby being insanitary to a user herself or himself.
In addition, since the drug, perfume, cosmetics and the like as described above are stored in a certain container, they are used by taking out of the container bit by bit as
required. However, when the container is frequently opened and closed every time they are used in terms of property of the product, the contents in the container is easily evaporated to the outside of the container, thereby deteriorating inherent properties of products as well as treating effect of the drug. As a result, the container is discarded before a user runs out of the contents in the container, thereby increasing resource wasting and environmental pollution. Besides, a drug, perfume, or cosmetics product for a single usage is fully needed at the time of going out, but there has not been disclosed a product to fully satisfy the needs. In the prior art, a drug, perfume or cosmetics product received in a relatively small container have been used as a substitute for the product for single usage, but there are still problems in that the contents of the product pours out of the container of the product more than intended amount of the contents in the process of handling the contents in use, and in that in case of drug product, the contents of the product comes into direct contact with a user' s hands or foreign substances, thereby deteriorating treating efficiency of the drug. [Disclosure] [Technical Problem] Accordingly, the present invention has been made in an effort to solve the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior art, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics, in which the bag having drug or cosmetics received therein in the form of liquid formulation or ointment is torn by means of a given
pressure applied to the puff during the use of the drug puff, and hence the drug or cosmetics received in the bag is penetrated into the lower piece. [Description of Drawings]
Further objects and advantages of the invention can be more fully understood from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics according to the present invention;
FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics according to the present invention; FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a process where a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics according to the present invention is used; and
FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a usage state of a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics according to the present invention. [Best Mode]
In order to accomplish the above objects, according to the present invention, there is provided a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics, which comprises a pair of upper and lower pieces coupled with each other; an easily-tearable drug
bag disposed therein; and a tab securely disposed on the outer surface thereof.
Hereinafter, a configuration of a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics of the invention will be explained in detail with reference to the appended drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics of the invention, and FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics of the invention. As shown in the drawings, the drug puff 1 of the invention features in that it comprises a pair of upper and lower pieces 2 and 3 coupled with each other; an easily-tearable drug bag 5 disposed therein; and a tab 4 securely disposed on the outer surface thereof.
The upper piece 2 is made of a material having water- proof and oil-proof properties, which can be synthetic resin such as PE, PP, PET and the like or metallic foil and coated fiber paper. Further, the tab 4 is made of the same material (also possible to be made of a different material from the upper piece 2) to that of the upper piece 2. The lower piece 3 is made of a soft material into which the liquid formulation or ointment is absorbed and impregnated, that is, soft material such as cotton, nonwoven fabric, and sponge.
Further, a method for coupling the upper piece 2 with the lower piece 3 don't have a specific limitation, but the coupling of the pair of upper and lower pieces needs to be achieved such that effective ingredients (drug or cosmetics component) in the drug bag 5 are not flown out of the drug bag 5 to the outside. For example, the coupling of the upper and lower pieces may be achieved through any one of coupling methods in which the upper and lower pieces separately
fabricated are coupled with each other and then the drug bag is disposed therebetween, in which the pair upper and lower pieces are integrally fabricated, the drug bag is disposed therebetween and then folded facing each other and sewed along their edges as a green-tea bag is, or in which the upper piece having an elasticity is wrapped around the lower piece having a drug bag disposed therein.
Here, the drug bag 5 disposed between the pair of upper and lower pieces 2 and 3 occupies in a significant important part of the present invention.
In other words, the drug bag 5 is made of an easily- tearable material which can be easily torn by a predetermined pressure, and is preferably made of material in which chemical substances of the drug or cosmetics is stored for a long period of time in the drug bag considering characters of drug or cosmetics received in the drug bag 5. At this time, synthetic resin film such as PE, PP, PET and the like is typically used.
Further, the drug bag 5 can be configured such that a part of the outer surface of the drug bag 5 has a relatively thin thickness so that the drug bag 5 is torn in the part having relatively thin thickness when heated or pressurized by means of a predetermined heat or pressure.
In case of needing a long-term adhering period as medical ointments typically do, a separate adhesive cloth is additionally provided other than the disposable drug puff in order to cover the entire of the drug puff, so that the drug puff can be adhered to the human body. At this time, edge portions of the underside 3' of the lower piece, which is intended to be into direct contact with the human body, have an adhesive part formed thereon instead of providing the
separate adhesive cloth, so that the same effect to that of the separate adhesive cloth can be obtained.
Hereinafter, an operation of the disposable puff for drug or cosmetics of the invention having the configuration as described above will be explained in detail through FIGs. 3 and 4.
FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a process where a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics of the invention is used, and FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a usage state of a disposable puff for drug or cosmetics of the invention.
First, a user inserts her or his index and middle fingers into a space defined between the tab 4 and the top surface of the upper piece 2, and then inwardly folds the drug puff 1 into two halves, as shown in FIG. 3, while supporting the top surface side of the other half of the upper piece which is opposite to the top surface side of one half of the upper piece, on which the user' s index and middle fingers is put, with her or his thumb.
Thereafter, when the user applies a proper pressure to his or her fingers intended to flex, the easily-tearable drug bag 5 disposed between the pair of upper and lower pieces 2 and 3 is gradually pressurized according to an increase in the applied pressure, thereby being torn.
Subsequently, the drug 6 received in the drug bag 5 is penetrated into the lower piece 3, and then gradually penetrated from the underside 3' of the lower piece 3 in terms of the characteristics of the material of the lower piece 3.
Thus, as shown in FIG. 4, the user may use the drug 6 which is absorbed and impregnated into the underside 3' of the lower piece 3, in a state where the user inserts her or
his fingers into the space defined between the tab 4 and the top surface of the upper piece 2.
In other words, the drug puff is in direct contact with or adhered to the wound site of the human body while the upper piece 2 is slightly depressed by the user's fingers, thereby achieving the desired treating effect.
Meanwhile, the drug puff according to the present invention doesn't have a specific limitation in its size and shape. In other words, it may be molded into three different sizes - small, medium and large, if necessary, and molded into various shapes - circular, oval, and heart shapes. Further, the drug puff may be made to have various colors and patterns imprinted thereon, as well as a predetermined advertisement phrase or logo can be imprinted on the underside 3' of the lower piece 3 which comes into direct contact with the human body, whereby an advertisement effect is given to users. [Advantageous Effects]
As described above, according to the present invention, the disposable puff for drug or cosmetics comprises a pair of upper and lower pieces coupled with each other, an easily- tearable drug bag disposed therein, and a tab securely disposed on the outer surface thereof. Thus, during the use of the drug puff, the bag having drug or cosmetics contained therein in the form of liquid formulation or ointment is torn by means of the desirable pressure applied to the puff, and then the drug or cosmetics contained in the bag is penetrated into the lower piece. Subsequently, the drug puff is directly contactibly applied to the wound site or desired make-up site of a user so as to treat the wound site and put on the makeup, thereby obtaining scientific and sanitary qualities in
its structure, allowing for its convenient use, and enhancing work effect at the time of treating the wound site or putting on the make-up.
While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
