[34]
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [35] The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings, the same elements are given the same reference numerals. The known constructions and functions, which may be deemed to make the spirits of the present invention unclear, will not be described. [36] Figure 1 is a perspective view illustrating a non-slip having a luminous function according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Figure 2 is a disassembled perspective view illustrating a non-slip having a luminous function according to an embodiment of the present invention. [37] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the non-slip according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a non-slip body 20, a non-slip transparent plate 30, a through hole 40 formed between the non-slip body 20 and the non-slip transparent plate 30, a transparent display plate 50 which is inserted into the through hole 40, and luminous members 70a and 70b for emitting light through an end cut portion of the transparent display plate 50. Here, the non-slip body 20 is installed at a certain portion which needs a slippery prevention, for example, at a step or a corner of a platform. In the following descriptions, it is assumed that a non-slip having a luminous function is installed at a step. The non-slip is longitudinally installed at a corner in which a vertical surface and horizontal surface of the step meet with each other. In this case, the lower surface of the non-slip body 20 contacts with the horizontal surface of the step, and the vertical bent surface of the non-slip body 20 contacts with the vertical surface of the step. Preferably, the non-slip body 20 is made of an ABS resin (thermoplastic resin formed of three components of Acrylonitrile, Butadiene and Styrene) having an excellent impact resistance.
[38] The non-slip transparent plate 30 is fixedly stacked on the horizontal surface of the non-slip body 30. The non-slip transparent plate 30 may be adhered on the horizontal surface of the non-slip body 20 by an adhesive or a high temperature thermal adhering method. The non-slip transparent plate 30 is made of a transparent material so that light transmits the material. Preferably, it is made of a SPVC having an excellent impact absorption function and transparency. Engaging members 22a, 22b and 22c are provided at regular intervals for fixing the non-slip body 20 and the non-slip transparent plate 30 at the floor. Lateral plates 60a and 60b are attached to both end portions of the non-slip body 20 for thereby supporting the non-slip body in a state that the non-slip body is engaged at the step, etc. Engaging members 62a and 62b are provided at the lateral plates 60a and 60b.
[39] At least one through hole 40 is formed between the non-slip body 20 and the non- slip transparent plate 30 and is longitudinally formed along the corner of the step. The transparent display plate 50 is inserted into the through hole 40, with an advertisement text or an image being printed on the transparent display plate 50 by a laser process method or a CNC process method. Preferably, the transparent display plate 50 is made of acryl, polyvinylchloride.
[40] Luminous members 70a and 70b are engaged at both end portions of the through hole 40 having the transparent display plate inserted therein. In this case, it is preferred to use a LED having an excellent linearity as the luminous members 70a and 70b. The LED luminance members 70a and 70b receive power from a power supply unit or an emergency power unit and emit light in the direction of the end cut surface of the transparent display plate 50 inserted into the through hole 40. As a result, the LED light transmits straight through the end cur surface, so that an advertisement text, etc. printed on the transparent display plate 50 emits light.
[41] As shown in Figure 2, the non-slip according to the present invention id designed to operate by a common power or an emergency power. The luminance members are designed to emit light with common power and to emit light with power supplied from an emergency battery which is provided for an emergency situation in which power supply is disconnected. The luminance members may operate like a guide light which allows people to easily recognize the inner structures of a building in an emergency situation and is capable of guiding people to an emergency exit. The controller provided on the circuit substrate according to the present invention is formed of a programmable chip, so that a manager or an installer can easily change a flashing sequence, an emitting color, etc. of a luminance member by programming the chip.
[42] Figure 3 is a disassembled perspective view illustrating a non-slip having a luminance function according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown therein, the non-slip is constructed in such a manner that the luminance substrate 52 having a plurality of luminance members 54 at regular intervals is inserted into the through hole 40. As power is externally supplied to the luminance member 54 through the wires printed on the printed circuit board, so that light emits. Here, the luminance member 54 is preferably formed of a LED.
[43] Figure 4 is a disassembled perspective view illustrating a non-slip having a luminance function according to another embodiment of the present invention. Figure 5 is a disassembled perspective view illustrating a non-slip having a luminance function according to further another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the through holes 40a and 40b are preferably formed on a vertical bent portion of the non-slop body 20 and a horizontal flat portion of the non-slip body 20. As shown in Figure 4, a transparent display plate 50a is inserted into the through hole 40a formed at the vertical bent portion of the non-slip body 20. An additional transparent display plate 50b is inserted into the through hole 40b formed at the horizontal flat portion of the non-slip body 20. Here, the transparent display plate 50b inserted into the through hole 40a is designed to be easily recognized by a person who uses the up steps, and the transparent display plate 50b inserted into the through hole 40a is designed to be easily recognized by a person who uses the down steps. As shown in Figure 5, the luminance substrate 52 having a plurality of luminance members 54 disposed at regular intervals is inserted into the through hole 40b.
[44] Figure 6 is a lateral cross sectional view of a state that a non-slip is installed at a step according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Figure 6, through holes 40a and 40b are formed between the non-slip body 20 and the non-slip transparent plate 30. Figure 7 is a lateral cross sectional view of a state that a non-slip is installed at a step according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Figure 7, a relatively larger transparent display plate is inserted into the a through hole formed at the vertical bent portion of the non-slip body 20, with the size of the through hole being larger in its vertical direction differently from the con- struction of Figure 6. Certain advertisement information of a shop or company of a building may be printed on the transparent display plate inserted into the trough hole and may output light, so that people, who use the steps at night, can continuously see the advertisement for thereby maximizing an advertisement effect.
[45] Figure 8 is a view of a state that a non-slip is installed at a step according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Figure 8, the non-slip according to the present invention is installed at a narrow step. In the case that the width of the step is wider, it is possible to easily install the non-slip according to the present invention.
[46]
Industrial Applicability
[47] As described above, tn the present invention, an interior of a building may have a beautiful effect at night by providing a non-slip having a luminous function. A non-slip may be used as a luxurious interior material since it has various flashing colors.
[48] At usual time, a non-slip according to the present invention may be used as a mood light for thereby obtaining a moody and luxurious environment. In an emergency situation such as a power failure or a fire, a luminous substrate may be used as an emergency light or a guide light, so that a safety accident may significantly decrease in an emergency situation.
[49] In addition, it is possible to maximize an advertisement effect in such a manner that people who come in or out a certain building can see a flashing advertisement of a certain company in a dark space like a theater, etc. by flashing a transparent display plate inserted into a through hole of a non-slip body, with a certain advertisement text being printed on the transparent display plate.
[50] A non-slip having a luminous function according to the present invention may be installed at a corner of a subway platform in which passenger may fall for thereby preventing any slippery when passenger get on of off the vehicle. In addition, a passenger's safety may be obtained by alarming a certain possible emergency to passenger by flashing a luminous member when passenger get closer to a corner of a platform within a certain distance range.
[51] According to the present invention, a manager or installer of a non-slip for steps may variously program a programmable circuit substrate or a controller, so that it is possible to select a flashing sequence, a flashing color, etc. of a luminous member, whereby it is possible to change the whole environments of a building with various concepts using its simple operation.
[52] As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing de- scription, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
