Abstract

The invention relates to a novel use of R,S- and/or S-hydroprene for the preparation of a composition having ovicidal activity against head louse. Preferably, the composition contains also an adulticidal agent, e.g. malathion, natural pyrethrum or synthetic pyrethroid. The prepared composition and the method of controlling head lice by using the composition are also disclosed.
