Abstract

The invention relates to a sanitary pen for animals, from among those means provided in cities for the control of domestic animal waste. The invention is intended to concentrate said means at isolated locations and, as such, is advantageous in that the animal excrement can be easily cleaned away and the area disinfected. The invention is characterised in that it comprises a box (1) of any shape, which is equipped with a pan (2) having sand (3) disposed thereon. The aforementioned pan is inclined laterally towards a channel (4) which leads to an essentially-vertical drain (5). The invention also comprises a peripheral enclosure (6) comprising an access gate (7).
