Abstract
L’invention concerne un toit escamotable de véhicule, comprenant un élément de toit avant (2) et un élément de toit arrière (3) rigides déplaçables entre une position dans laquelle ils recouvrent l’habitacle du véhicule et une position dans laquelle ils sont rangés dans le coffre arrière du véhicule. L’élément de toit arrière a sa partie arrière guidée par une première glissière (8) solidaire de la structure du véhicule et sa partie avant articulée sur un bras (9) monté pivotant sur le châssis du véhicule autour d’un axe (11) transversal à l’axe longitudinal du véhicule et l’élément de toit avant (2) porte une seconde glissière (5) et est monté coulissant sur une troisième glissière (6) solidaire de l’élément arrière.
Description
TOIT ESCAMOTABLE DE VEHICULE
La présente invention concerne un toit escamotable de véhicule, et plus particulièrement un tel toit comprenant un élément de toit avant et un élément de toit arrière rigides déplaçables entre une position dans laquelle ils recouvrent l'habitacle du véhicule et une position dans laquelle ils sont rangés dans le coffre arrière du véhicule.
Un tel toit escamotable permet de transformer un véhicule du type berline ou coupé en un véhicule du type cabriolet.
On connaît par le document FR-A-2 816 253 un toit escamotable dont l'élément arrière se loge dans le coffre arrière horizontalement par un mouvement d'oscillation et de coulissement, et au moins un élément avant coulisse le long de l'élément arrière, entraîné par un bras, pour se disposer au- dessous de ce dernier en position de rangement.
Dans cet agencement, il est nécessaire d'entraîner dans son mouvement l'élément de toit arrière pour faire basculer l'élément de toit avant.
On connaît par ailleurs des dispositifs dans lesquels il est nécessaire de décaler vers le haut la partie avant de l'élément de toit arrière afin de faire coulisser en dessous de ce dernier l'élément de toit avant.
L'invention a pour but de palier ces inconvénients.
Plus particulièrement, l'invention vise à fournir un toit escamotable dans un coffre arrière de faible volume
A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un toit escamotable de véhicule, comprenant un élément de toit avant et un élément de toit arrière rigides déplaçables entre une position dans laquelle ils recouvrent l'habitacle du véhicule et une position dans laquelle ils sont rangés dans le coffre arrière du véhicule, caractérisé en ce que : l'élément de toit arrière a sa partie arrière guidée par une premjère glissière solidaire de la structure du véhicule et sa partie avant articulée sur un bras monté pivotant sur le châssis du véhicule autour d'un axe transversal à l'axe longitudinal du véhicule ; l'élément de toit avant porte une seconde glissière et est monté coulissant sur une troisième glissière solidaire de l'élément arrière.
Ainsi, l'élément de toit avant vient se superposer au-dessus de l'élément arrière. L'élément de toit avant est indépendant dans son coulissement de l'élément de toit arrière et est solidaire de ce dernier pour son rangement dans le coffre.
Dans un mode de réalisation particulier, l'élément de toit arrière comporte une vitre montée pivotante à sa partie supérieure autour d'un axe transversal à l'axe longitudinal du véhicule et portant à sa partie inférieure un organe engagé dans une glissière solidaire du châssis du véhicule.
On décrira maintenant, à titre d'exemple non limitatif, un mode de réalisation particulier de l'invention, en référence aux dessins schématiques annexés dans lesquels :
la figu re 1 est une vue de côté d'un toit selon l'invention en positions de recouvrement en traits pleins, et de semi- recouvrement en traits interrompus ;et la figure 2 est une vue de côté de ce toit en position de rangement dans le coffre arrière du véhicule.
Comme montré aux figures, le véhicule 1 comprend un élément de toit avant rigide 2, un élément de toit arrière rigide 3 et un couvercle de coffre arrière 4.
L'élément de toit avant 2 porte une glissière 5 et est monté coulissant sur l'élément arrière 3 qui porte une glissière 6. Cet élément arrière 3 supporte un doigt ou galet 7 qui est engagé dans une glissière 8 solidaire du châssis du véhicule.
Le bord avant de l'élément de toit arrière 3 est articulé autou r d'un axe 9 transversal à l'axe longitudinal du véhicule à une extrémité d'un bras 10. L'autre extrémité du bras 10 est articulée au châssis du véhicule autour d'un axe 1 1 également transversal à l'axe longitud inal du véhicule.
L'élément de toit arrière 3 comprend une vitre 12 montée pivotante à sa partie supérieure autour d'un axe 13 transversal à l'axe longitudinal du véhicule. La partie inférieure de la vitre 12 comporte un doigt ou un galet 14 engagé dans une glissière 15 solidaire du châssis du véhicule.
La zone de rangement 16 du toit escamotable est délimitée par le couvercle 4 de coffre arrière, le passage de roue arrière 17, et le couvercle de moteur 18.
Pour permettre le rangement du toit dans la zone 16, le couvercle de coffre 4 bascule de l'avant vers l'arrière, tandis que l'élément de toit avant 2 coulisse le long de la glissière 6 solidaire de l'élément arrière 3 et se superpose ainsi à ce dernier.
Un doigt 19 solidaire de l'élément de toit avant 2 pénètre dans un orifice de centrage 20 situé sur l'extrémité arrière 21 de l'élément de toit arrière 3.
L'ensemble constitué par les éléments de toit avant 2 et arrière 3 est ensuite entraîné par le bras 10. Le galet 7 solidaire de l'élément de toit arrière 3 se déplace alors le long de la glissière 8 de sorte que l'ensemble se range dans la zone de rangement 16.
Lorsque l'ensemble des deux éléments de toit 2 et 3 bascule, la vitre arrière 12 pivote autou r de l'axe 13 tandis que le doigt 14 est guidé par la glissière 1 5 de sorte que la vitre 12 s'escamote par rapport au couvercle de moteur 18.
Enfin, une tablette 22 articulée su r le châssis du véhicule autour d'un axe de rotation 23 passe d'une position sensiblement verticale pour permettre le passage des éléments de toit, à une position sensiblement horizontale comme montré à la figure 2.
Ces mouvements peuvent être réalisés automatiquement à l'aide d'actionneurs convenables, ou manuellement.
Claims
REVENDICATIONS
Toit escamotable de véhicule, comprenant plusieurs éléments de toit déplaçables entre une position dans laquelle ils recouvrent l'habitacle du véhicule et une position dans laquelle ils sont rangés dans le coffre arrière du véhicule, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend : au moins un élément de toit central arrière (4) rigide et un élément de toit central avant (3) souple ; un élément de toit latéral gauche (2), et un élément de toit latéral droit ; l'élément de toit central arrière (4) étant articulé sur le châssis du véhicule autour d'un premier axe transversal (10), ledit élément de toit central arrière(4) étant désolidarisable des éléments de toit latéraux, et possédant des deuxièmes glissières (8) ; l'élément de toit central avant étant monté en position de recouvrement sur des premières glissières (6) solidaires des éléments latéraux et étant rétractable en position de rangement dans lesdites deuxièmes glissières (8) solidaires de l'élément central arrière ; les éléments de toit latéraux gauche, respectivement droit, étant articulés sur le châssis du véhicule autour d'un deuxième
(11), respectivement troisième, axe transversal.
Toit escamotable, selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de toit central arrière (4) est articulé sur le châssis du véhicule autour d'un premier axe de rotation transversal (10) et les éléments de toits latéraux gauche (2), respectivement droit sont articulés sur le châssis du véhicule autour d'un deuxième, respectivement troisième, axe de rotation (11) transversal.
