Abstract

A curtain suspension arrangement for hanging curtains flatly comprises one or more elongate hanger (14), each arranged to carry a flatly hanging curtain. The hangers have hooks (15, 16) at their both ends arranged to be put into curtain rod rings (12, 13) on a conventional curtain rod (11) so that the hangers will be slideable along the curtain rod. Each hanger (14) consists of a steel rod that has its ends bent to form said hooks (15, 16).

Curtain suspension device Technical field of the invention
This invention relates to a curtain suspension arrangement for hanging curtains flatly.
Brief description of prior art
For hanging curtains flatly, aluminium profiles are usually used, which have several grooves horizontally next to each other; one groove for each curtain.
Object of the invention
It is an object of the invention to provide, with simple elements and at a low cost, a curtain suspension arrangement for hanging slideable curtains flatly; an arrangement particularly suitable for domestic use.
Brief description of the drawing
Figure 1 shows schematically and in a side view a curtain suspension arrangement in accordance with the invention.
Description of the illustrated example of the invention
The figure shows schematically a curtain suspension arrangement that consists of a conventional curtain rod 11 with rings 12,13. The mounting brackets are not shown. A curtain hanger 14 has hooks 15,16 at its ends and the hooks are inserted into the rings 12,13. The hanger 14 is made of a rod of hard, cold-reduced steel with a diameter of for example 5 mm and the ends of the rod are bent to form the hooks 15,16. The hooks are bent so that the hanger is two-dimensional.
The curtain that is to be suspended on the hanger can suitably be sewn with a channel through which the hanger is inserted before being hung on the rod as shown. Alternatively, the curtain can have a VELCRO fastening and be bent over the hanger and fastened that way. The curtains will hang flatly and they hang flatly also when they are moved along the curtain rod since their hangers are moved with the curtain rings sliding on the curtain rod.

Claims
1. Curtain suspension arrangement for hanging curtains flatly, characterised by one or more elongate hangers (14), each one arranged to carry a flatly hanging curtain, the hangers having hooks (15,16) at their ends arranged to be put into curtain rod rings (12,13) on a conventional curtain rod (11) so as to be slideable along the rod.
2. Curtain suspension arrangement according to claim 1 , characterised in that the hangers (14) consist of a steel rod that has its ends bent to form said hooks (15,16).
