Abstract

La présente invention peut être utilisée dans l'industrie des peintures et vernis. L'invention concerne un pigment anticorrosion qui se présente sous forme de phosphate-molybdate de calcium, le rapport entre les ions molybdate et les ions phosphate étant compris entre 1:0,01 et 1:100. Ledit pigment est produit à l'aide d'un procédé qui consiste : à mélanger du carbonate de calcium et de l'eau, et à agiter ledit mélange pendant 1 heure à une température de 95 °C ; à ajouter progressivement, tout en agitant énergiquement, une solution contenant du permolybdate d'ammonium et de l'acide orthophosphorique à la suspension obtenue ; à poursuivre l'agitation durant les 5 heures suivant l'introduction de tous les éléments ; et à sécher la suspension à une température de 380 °C. Le pigment obtenu est d'un blanc éclatant, est moins soluble dans l'eau que le phosphate-chromate de calcium, est non toxique, et le remplacement des ions chromate par des ions molybdate n'affecte pas ses propriétés anticorrosion.
