Abstract

The invention provides a method of amplifying an unclonable DNA fragment in vitro, comprising circularising the unclonable DNA fragment, adding a DNA polymerase, a dNTP mixture and a primer, and amplifying the unclonable DNA fragment by rolling circle amplification to produce a tandem series of repeats of the unclonable DNA fragment.
