Abstract

The invention concerns a device for adjusting the height of a tennis court net designed to adapt a net (11), initially adjusted in height for a doubles match, into a net adjusted for a singles match. The inventive device is characterized in that it consists of two stakes (2) and two flexible cables (5) fixed by one of their ends, to one of the posts (1), in two different points (A) and (B), and by the other end, to the stake (2) which is associated therewith, in two different points (C) and (D), and in that the length of said cables and the position of their fixing points are adapted to ensure the positioning of the stake (2) at the statutory distance from the singles line and its vertical position. It is also characterized in that the cables (4) and (5) are adapted to act as support to an advertising board (12).
