Abstract

The invention relates to a first composition containing at least one compound of an element E which is selected from the group comprising elements with atomic numbers 21 to 31 in the periodic table and molybdenum and tungsten and a mesostructured material comprising at least partially crystalline nanometric particles based on cerium oxide, said particles being bound to one another by means of a silica- or alumina-based mineral matrix. The invention also relates to a second composition containing the same components as the previous composition but with the addition of a fluid bed catalytic cracking catalyst. The third inventive composition also comprises a fluid bed catalytic cracking catalyst and a mesostructured material of the type described above. Said compositions can be used as a catalyst in a catalytic cracking process, particularly fluid catalytic cracking, and they can also be used to obtain greater desulphurisation in relation to prepared fuels.
