Abstract

Ein Datenverarbeitungssystem zur elektronischen Zahlungsvermittlung weist eine Verbindungseinrichtung auf, mit der eine Datenverbindung zwischen einer Aussteller-Datenverarbeitungseinrichtung (10) und einer Autorisierungs-Datenverarbeitungseinrichtung (14) hergestellt werden kann. Ferner ist eine Identifikationseinrichtung (20) zur Identifikation des Ausstellers gegenüber der Autorisierungs-Datenverarbeitungseinrichtung (14) vorgesehen. Mit der Aussteller-Datenverarbeitungseinrichtung (10) ist eine Anzeigeeinrichtung zur Anzeige eines Zahlungsverkehr-Formulars verbunden. Das Zahlungsverkehr-Formular wird nach der Überprüfung durch die Autorisierungs-Datenverarbeitungseinrichtung (14) an die Aussteller-Datenverarbeitungseinrichtung (10) übermittelt und auf der Anzeigeeinrichtung angezeigt. Der Aussteller kann nun das Zahlungsverkehr-Formular ausfüllen, sofern dies nicht bereits automatisch erfolgt ist, und übermittelt das ausgefüllte Zahlungsverkehr-Formular ggf. nach einer erneuten Identifikation an die Autorisierungs-Datenverarbeitungseinrichtung. Durch diese werden sodann die angegebenen Daten überprüft und bestätigt. Insbesondere erfolgt eine Überprüfung der Liquidität des Ausstellers durch Verbindung mit der Ausstellerbank (16). Das sodann mit einer Zahlungsgarantie versehene Zahlungsverkehr-Formular wird sodann an eine Händlerbank (18) übermittelt.
